1 /5 Jay Surniak: I was staying at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham so I wanted to go somewhere in walking distance. It was karaoke night which wasnt a big deal. However, the service that was received, was less than ideal. I was rushed by the bartender, to orde upon receiving a menu. I mentioned that I need some time. Maybe a minute later, if not sooner, he asked if I was ready to which I replied not yet. Another minute goes by, and Im asked if Im ready to order.... again! I said not yet. Finally after deciding, I asked to order a French Onion Soup. If its on the menu, they certainly have to have it.... especially a soup. The bartender told me that they didnt have any French Onion Soup and this was on a weeknight at 8:30 pm, with the kitchen still open for a quite a while. The worst part is, they werent busy!! Despite being aggravated, I stayed as I was hungry. I sent a message through the website to which the owners did reply and in the email, they stated "We would like to make this right. Please let us know if there is anything specific we can do to make up for this. Perhaps a complimentary drink or app on your next visit, or a discount on your next order?" I replied to their email, and almost 2 weeks later, I havent heard from them. Poor ownership, false advertisement on food available, and pricey. When a patron says theyre not ready to order, that doesnt mean to hound them to order!
