The Mog Bar and Grill - Batavia (NY)

4 /5 Stryker Ostafew: Adorable place with very friendly people. It was small inside, but that made it more family style seating. My wife and I both had fish. She had the lemon garlic butter broiled fish and I had the beer-battered, and they were both hot and excellent. Coleslaw and macaroni salad tasted fresh without that refrigerator taste that some places get. I often rate a place by their salads, and mine was great here. It was romaine lettuce with cucumbers and tomatoes and peppers and was very fresh tasting. There is a lot to look at in the room, like the taxidermied deer and the bear. I did not include a picture of the pie, but it was an apple caramel homemade pie that tasted amazing.

4 /5 Candace Lord: Friendly staff, great portions, good food, minimal beer selection. My taco salad was delicious and my partners chicken fingers were huge- more like chicken cutlets. And their homemade buffalo sauce was yummy! Off the beaten path but a great stop.

5 /5 Cathy Marble: Great little Bar and Grill in the Country. No frills needed, everyone is treated like family and the food is Delicious. We just had the wings tonight and they are wonderful, large and done the way you request them. We have been going there for over a year now and have never been disappointed. Foods is always hot and yummy. Try the Fish Fry on Fridays for a treat. The price point is perfect and we havent had a better one anywhere else in the area. Give The MOG a try and enjoy every minute.

5 /5 Jennifer: ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem with Local History and Heart! I absolutely loved my visit to this historic bar and grill! The atmosphere is rich with character and the staff were incredibly friendly! They made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food was fantastic with that homemade feel you just can’t get from a chain restaurant. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. Great service, delicious food and a piece of local history all rolled into one!
