Craft Taqueria - New City (NY)

5 /5 M Daws: ***** THIS PLACE IS AMAZING ***** From the owner to the chef, floor staff, bar staff and the food EVERYTHING is that of a great restaurant. Ive eaten here probably 15 times in an 8 week period during my stay. Im a seasoned traveller, and have eaten in many places, I would rate this as one of my favourites. The menu is imaginative, tasty, greay portion size, good looking and I feel is worth every dollar! The staff there are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the food, and boy does the food taste good. Every dish I had was amazing and those that I didnt have and seen being served, looked just as good. If you are in New City or even New York, this has to be on the cards, if you are a foodie or just want a decent resturant to go to.

5 /5 Gina Sloman: Not that they need another 5 star review to help get their business but here’s one anyway! This place is outstanding. Had their short rib arepa the other night and was truly taken aback by how flavorful and tender it was. My husband is a vegetarian and often times the selections for him feel more like an after thought but not here—his cauliflower tacos were creative, beautifully presented and tasty. The guacamole is done right with bright flavors and great chunks of avocado and the watermelon agua Fresca was so good we got another to go.

5 /5 miles davis: We’ve been coming since Craft essentially just opened. Maybe a year after. It was just the small spot, which clearly limited the potential of the restaurant despite the food being in my opinion, the best in New City, if not further. We are so glad that the missing piece was added, the restaurant expanded to next door creating an ample dining space and also the bar. Now Craft Taqueria can be what it is supposed to be, a popular crowded delicious restaurant. The new employees are great! And Jeff deserves all the success he can have. He truly puts his heart into his food. So happy to be fortunate enough to have this gem around the corner. Rock on Craft Taqueria!

5 /5 Leos Deli: We had dinner there last night and let me tell you, Im ashamed to say I havent been here yet. The food was absolutely spectacular. We had the Guac & Chips (how could you not ) and the beet salad. 10/10. Then we had shrimp and chorizo and birria tacos. BLOWN AWAY. I found my new go to after work/take the spouse out spot. The expansion looked amazing, bar was so cool. And Oh, cant forget, I took a piece of carrot cake home because everyone recommended it. It was massive. I need it again ASAP. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE! RUN DONT WALK! Next I want that 30 day aged steak. It is calling to me. Happy to have them so close to us! Cheers fellas, you do a hell of a job!
