3 /5 Travis: Our family visited this new restaurant and here’s our honest first impression: the food was great and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the raspberry house margarita was not enjoyable it had a taste reminiscent of a cleaner.
We had ordered the tableside guacamole, but instead our meals arrived without it. We waited for the guac while already eating our food, but it never came. We both ordered the fajitas, they were excellent.
Service was also disappointing. Our waiter was mostly absent, and when we did get his attention, it felt like we were bothering him. For example, when she requested extra flour tortillas, he came back empty-handed the first time. Only after reminding him again did he finally bring them. Another waiter eventually stopped by and she asked for the check. When the bill arrived, the missing tableside guacamole was still included, and we had to point out that we never received it.
Additionally minor thing, we ordered from the kids’ menu for our 3-year-old, which was listed at $8.50, but we were charged $10.25 instead.
To be fair, it was a busy night and we did wait about an hour to be seated outdoors on a Thursday around 5:00 p.m. Still, the service definitely needs improvement. That said, the food itself was delicious, and we will be back to give it another try. If you’re looking for good food, this place is worth a visit—but hopefully, the service will improve.
