4 /5 michelle grutman: I came here for valentines day with the hopes of trying something different for a change, and overall the experience was pleasant. While they ran a special for a vday menu of 65 a person with free champagne, that unfortunately got canceled and they didn’t notify customers in advance so that was disappointing given the good deal. Nonetheless, the atmosphere is really nice, definitely has a nice greek Mediterranean feel , it felt like summer for a moment which was nice. I just hate how cold I felt each time the door opened and closed since its just one dining room. The regular menu has decent options from platters to finger foods, nice dips, salads, and hearty mains. The problem with the menu is that their wine list is non existent, they apologized a million times for not having even the Zoe greek wines in house or basic ones like Josh Cellar, but their pitcher of sangria really made up for it. They should invest in a restocked wine menu if they want to elevate the dining experience since certain wines pair well with fish and red meats on their menu. The waitress acts as the hostess here so they run around like chickens with no head. I also saw ticket numbers got mixed up when they delivered wrong entrees to people. You can tell they really take their jobs seriously as you never saw them standing around doing nothing. We tried their zucchini chips which were divine, lightly fried with good seasoning and yummy tzatziki dip, good start to the night. We then had pistachio crusted lamb chops with sherry wine sauce, let me tell you something, im still thinking about that sauce several days later it is DIVINE. i want to dip everything in their and the pistachio crumbs are sheer genius. We also had steak skewers platter, the platter has good value since you get salad a dip fries and bread or veggies, it was easy to share. I liked the seasoning on their skewers but I wanted the meat medium, it felt too well done. It did have a nice smoky flavor though from the grill. Fries were decent, i would of added more salt . The spicy feta dip was spectacular, loved the crushed red pepper. The greek salad had yummy olives. At the end of the night we tried their cucumber margaritas, it was really good- refreshing and slightly sour , I would drink this in the summer for sure! We also got their triple chocolate cake, we loved it because it was very decadent from their dark chocolate layers. However you would expect them to have baklava and maybe some other pastries with pistachios , instead they had only tiramisu, gelato and chocolate cake. Their pistachio dessert was out of stock . Their $7 cappuccino wasn’t worth it, it barely had any foam and too much cinnamon. This place needs to pull their inventory together if they want to get a five star experience for their customers. Otherwise, the tasty food makes up for everything else that’s lacking. I would return here in the summer time to see what else they have to offer.
