5 /5 Mary Naughton: At long last, I got in to try Gustaferro’s on the weekend. That chicken vodka parm they posted online was an absolute tease, so I knew I needed to get in on it! I haven’t been to Amici’s to make any type of comparison, so I won’t.
The chicken vodka parm with macaroni is delicious!! They provide you with freshly made focaccia bread as well. The presentation of the cutlet alone was massive. Another lady seated there said it could’ve been enough for four people. Not quite lol but I definitely had leftovers the next day, the guy with me however, did not. The only thing I would add is that I wish I asked for extra sauce. The sauce was delicious, creamy, and full of flavor. I just like a lot of sauce, even some to dip their bread in. They would’ve provided if only I asked, we live, we learn. Anyway, I’m dying to check out their “hot boy” pizza sometime because it’s more chicken cutlet and that’s a beautiful thing, even on a pizza!
At Gustaferro’s, it’s a beautifully designed space, light and bright. (From the outside the windows initially looked dark so I wasn’t sure about the interior). After going in, you’re greeted by a gorgeous long marble bar for counter seating and tables and chairs for dining towards the back.
The space, from my own mere customer perspective, was done really beautifully. They have a gorgeous espresso machine which they’ll have going soon (I do love my coffee). They are waiting on their liquor license, so that’ll be available soon. The lovely bar top, where they are letting you dine for now, unless you do takeout/delivery is very comfortable. I say this as a very short girl who hates barstools, I was genuinely comfortable getting onto them.
Ok so the place looks nice.. also, the FOOD! Come check them out, you won’t be sorry.
