5 /5 Joe Leone: This is one of the best meals I ever had. I had never heard of this place but Googled “fried chicken near me” and this came up with a 4.9 star rating. My girlfriend and I decided to try it and what a great decision it was. Literally everything was fantastic. The chicken was flavorful and crunchy. The breading was perfect. It had a great crunch and flavor and stayed on the chicken very well. The honey garlic sauce on the tenders was so flavorful as well. The Mac and cheese is one of the best I’ve ever had, as was the cornbread. The cornbread had a unique flavor that was out of this world. My girlfriend has hated literally every piece of cornbread she has ever tried but she loved this. The collard greens were cooked with turkey, which gave them a great flavor. The chocolate cake was perfect. It was moist and the frosting was nice and light. The entire thing is chocolate, but it’s not too chocolatey.
I talked with one of the owners while I was waiting for my food and she was telling me how everything is homemade and I definitely believe that. You could tell how fresh everything was. The portions were big and filling and very reasonably priced. This will 100% be one of our go to spots from now on. I would recommend this place to everyone I know.
