Laurentide Beer Company - Penn Yan (NY)

5 /5 Rob Holland: Nice little brewery in a cool old space. Make sure you go around back to the actual brewery! We were about to leave after trying what we thought was the front door, but it turned out the brewery was actually around back. Look for the big brewery letters on the fence line and head to the yellow building. Beer was good, service was friendly and the snacks we had were very well executed as well. We happen to come in on a Sunday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to see they do an all day happy hour kind of thing called Drinking with Lincoln where all their beers are only $5 and they have a selection of snacks at $5 each too! Will definitely check them out again!

5 /5 Tony Genco: Amazing. We went to the brewery / outdoor area in the back. We were a group of 7, and ordered a wide variety of the menu. Everything exceeded expectations. The pulled pork sandwich, the salads (get any with crispy chicken), the burgers, cheese curds. It was all great. And great live music to boot. Definitely recommend.

5 /5 Tim: Love coming here with the family! The atmosphere is always welcoming, and there’s something for everyone. The kids have a blast with the live music and can’t get enough of the popcorn. The pizza and wings are consistently outstanding, some of the best around. It’s just such a fun, relaxed, family-friendly spot. We genuinely love everything about it.

4 /5 Alex Gilroy: Very good food, nice and flavorful. I enjoyed the beef and cheese, my mom liked her salad and the wings were good as well. Large portion too. Great beer selection. Loses points for a couple reasons. 1, they have a bee problem. I realize this is not the easiest thing to remedy but it makes eating outside difficult when youre being swarmed by 3-5 bees. Just something to take note of. I was also disappointed to see that they use prepackaged single use plastic forks and knife sets. Not only is it a waste of plastic its just not super good to eat with. My mothers fork snapped just eating salad. If you must use single use at least use compostable. Theres a ventilator fan outside which is pretty loud but its only annoying if you try to listen for it. Service was good. Overall Id definitely recommend checking it out.

5 /5 Bill M: Stopped here while walking through Penn Yan. The beers all sounded good and were low octane (7% or lower) with a wide variety. Pumpkin ale was very good! The Berliner weisse was good and so was the USAle. We didn’t order food but it all looked and smelled good and the smashed potatoes looked amazing!
