Nación Mezcal Reserva - Penn Yan (NY)

5 /5 Udit Anand: Ordered a takeout meal from Nacion Mezcal Reserva and really enjoyed everything. We ordered the Veggie bowl, Veggie Burrito, and Chile Relleno. The food was flavorful and delicious, even though the Chile Relleno didnt travel well from a visual standpoint. The restaurant also has a lively, holiday vibe which was great. The only thing that could improve is that ordering food over the phone was a bit challenging. The person wasnt deeply familiar with the dishes on the menu (causing me to repeat the dish name and description multiple times) and missed adding one of the dishes to the order that we had asked for (the Spinach Enchilada). Nonetheless, whatever we ate, we enjoyed and we would highly recommend the place if youre in the area.

5 /5 Elizabeth Fitzgerald: Great spot for a hearty Mexican meal! The staff was super friendly and impressively quick—especially considering how packed it was. We sat at the bar, which meant no wait for a table (highly recommend if youre in a rush). Their “medium” frozen margarita is huge, and they definitely didn’t skimp on the pour! I ordered the steak and cheese burrito—grilled steak with onions and bell peppers, wrapped in a warm flour tortilla with plenty of cheese—and it really hit the spot. The beans and rice on the side were solid too. The atmosphere is lively and energetic, and it’s clear this place is popular with the locals. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!

5 /5 vince baronti: The food and drink here were amazing. The portions were almost too big. Id day the same for the drink sizes, but is that really a thing? The house margaritas were tasty. The service was proficient and quick. Prices were definitely on the low side, making for a great value
