5 /5 Hannah Jackson: 10/10! We decided to do this activity as a bachelorette craft. Kristen was amazing! She knew her stuff and knew how to work with what we were thinking when it came to vibe of our candles. All of us ended up with an amazing experience and sent that we will remember forever. Candles took 2hrs to set and we just went shopping in the meantime. Service was spectacular. Product is amazing!

She’s a gentle guide to getting exactly what you want. She’s got a master nose and asks just the right questions to make sure you leave with a scent you’ll love! Made a bunch of candles over the years and will keep coming back!!

5 /5 Heather Bendit: Top of line: Visiting Hudson for the day? Make this your first stop!! Details: Where to begin?? The vibe is quietly upscale. The store design and layout are clearly well thought out. The process of creating a unique, one-of-a-kind and yes, bespoke luxury item was also very well thought out to maximize the experience. The end product is a deliciously smelling candle in a beautiful receptacle of your own choosing, elegantly packaged and ready for gifting. You should probably make two. The locally sourced beer, wine and light nibbles also contributed nicely to the experience. Shout-out: to staffer Cody, “The Nose”. His incredible ability to visualize a fragrance story, his passion for the product, and his friendly and collaborative style truly elevated the experience. Notes: The candle takes about two hours to cure. Plan to return to the shop after you’ve done the tour of Warren St. Or, you can arrange to have it shipped for a very reasonable fee. UPDATE: My candle arrived within less than a week, safe and sound and beautifully packaged. Also came with detailed instructions, which are quite helpful.

5 /5 Lynn Chou: Our group absolutely loved our experience at Poured… what a highlight of our Hudson Valley bachelorette trip! We had so much fun smelling all the different scents and learning how to mix them to create our very own candle or perfume. The person we worked with was extremely friendly and so patient with helping us make adjustments to our custom fragrance. 10/10 experience and I hope to come back someday!
