3 /5 Web TA: I’m really disappointed in The Ruck tonight. I’m a regular customer, and when I dine in, my food is always made exactly how I ask. Tonight was the complete opposite. The chicken tasted like it had been boiled—definitely not fried hard the way I requested—and it was honestly disgusting.
I wasn’t asking for a refund. I would’ve been fine with a remake or even a discount for my next order. Instead, the person on the phone told me the manager said nothing could be done. That’s surprising, especially for a regular customer who rarely complains. And this isn’t even the first time my order has come out this way.
On top of that, the food was so soggy that I couldn’t eat it at all. I actually had to go somewhere else and order dinner just so I could get food made the way I asked. That shouldn’t happen—ever.
Any other place would fix the mistake without hesitation. If something isn’t done right, it should be corrected. The way this was handled was unacceptable. All I can really say is: do better.
