1 /5 Stephanie Miller: I saw Verdiles plea asking the community to support their family business. Tonight was my second and final attempt to help this local restaurant. On both occasions, my order was incorrect and the two orders came to over $140 and I tipped at 20% (for what, I wish I knew.) Tonight I ordered a shrimp cocktail, chicken piccata with angel hair, a potato and their well-known carrot cake. The shrimp cocktail was fine though the cocktail sauce was lackluster and a small amount given the size of the shrimp. I received the chicken piccata (chicken, mushrooms and sauce) in one container. Instead of plain angel hair, onto which I would have placed the chicken piccata, they sent angel hair with tomato sauce! I was left with nothing but the piccata. I also received no potato. The carrot cake is indeed super-sized and was delicious, except that it was in burnt on the sides! I am beyond disappointed because I threw out much of the dinner and my order was inaccurate or missing. I wish the restaurant well, but for the community to continue to support anfamily-ownes restaurant, the food and service must be accurate and consistent. Right now, I have no plans to spend more at a place that cannot get my order right.
