5 /5 Brandon Snuggs: Restaurant Review Only The food here is pretty good! I would totally come back. My wife and I got the Cajun Seafood Pasta and the Short Rib, both meals were absolutely delicious. The Cajun Seafood Pasta has an abundant amount of seafood and was nice and creamy. The Short Rib was really tender and succulent! Also, the staff is polite and friendly!

5 /5 Elizabeth Bennet: You delightfully step back in time when you enter the charming Village Tavern Restaurant in the lovely small town of Hammondsport by Keuka Lake. The delicious steak lunch special offered on the day we visited was wonderfully savory and came with sautéed mushrooms, spinach and mashed sweet potatoes. It was quite unexpected, as we had assumed this was mainly a burger joint, but the food selection was both varied and surprisingly refined for such a small venue. We complemented our meal with a bottle of Bully Hill wine from a local vineyard—it was excellent! The service was as friendly and welcoming as can be. I assume reservations are required during the summer months, when tourism is at its peak.

4 /5 Larry Holcombe: Its a quaint tavern thats been there for quite some time. Obviously the locals love it. The staff were friendly, and the service was good. We had a little bowl of delicious crab bisque, It was a little runny but the flavor was spot on. Then we ordered the Caesar salad with a nice piece of blackened salmon on top. Those were delicious. Im not sure why they advertise that the Caesar dressing is homemade with a little bit of heat added to it because we didnt sense any heat. Theres a large selection of draft beers a lot of them being local. Parking can be a little difficult when theyre very busy. All in all a good experience.

5 /5 Thierry Croizer: Charming Spot for a Relaxed Lunch While spending the weekend in Watkins Glen, my wife and I decided to take a scenic drive around Keuka Lake—and we’re so glad we did. We stopped for an early lunch around 11:30 AM at the Village Tavern and Inn in Hammondsport, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our day. We sat outside on a cozy little porch, which offers a nice view and atmosphere. Depending on traffic, it might get a bit noisy, but during our visit it was quiet enough to enjoy a great conversation over a leisurely meal. The service was warm and welcoming. We were taken care of by a friendly waitress and the owner himself, both of whom made us feel right at home. My wife ordered an omelette, which she loved, and I had steak and eggs. The steak came out perfectly rare, just the way I like it. The food was delicious, well-portioned, and fairly priced—great value for the quality. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back the next time we’re in the Finger Lakes region. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and friendly hospitality in a charming lakeside town.

5 /5 Justin Lee: I did not stay in a room, but the food was to die for. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, easily some of the most flavorful and tender pulled pork Ive had in a very long time. The waitress was attentive, kind, and very friendly. Same goes with the entire staff. If you are in, or around Hammondsport, I highly recommend you check out this place for both the food quality, location, and friendliness of the staff; all for around only 20 bucks. They also offer a 4 course tasting meal for $37 if youre interested. Highly recommend.
