Alice Austen Park dispelled all stereotypes. It was absolutely beautiful and tranquil. We had a great day there and we would love to go back soon. And what a great view of the Verrazano Bridge and Manhattan!

5 /5 Drew Rowley 973: Beautiful view of the water and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. You can even see Brooklyn, Manhattan and Jersey City from this park. Rosebank has the best views in Staten Island.

5 /5 Firuz Sharapov: Inside the park also Alice Austin house (kind of small museum about her) Around the house there is a table where you can have a picnic and have good conversation. If I am not mistaken, there is a parking behind the house. There is an area for walking with dogs. There is no playground for kids, unfortunately. The park has plenty of places for a picnic with a beautiful view of the buono Beach and verazano Bridge. I There is a public restroom (portable), which I dont recommend. The park to visit.

5 /5 Lisa Zoller: If you like parks, pictures and a peak into the photographers life, this is a nice place to spend a little time. I recommend signing up for a private(up to 5) tour given by people who really care. We had other plans but a picnic lunch on the grounds wouldve been really nice

4 /5 J Charles: First time there. Amazing! The sites, the scenery. Great place alone or with family. I ride an e-scooter and there was plenty of places to ride without interfering with pedestrians or traffic!

Frank Reyes: Small trail loop through park and then another through the woods which is really nice. Lots of playgrounds for younger kids, but they’re not elaborate. Seriously though what do you need…swings and grass for kids. Lots of families and guarded beach area.

Austin Rome (DADDYROME): I brought my nephews here they had a great time. Beautiful museum, small but excellent design and setup. This whole area is amazing so much history. I cant wait to til the spring really comes in, to walk around the grounds. I learned about the Black Angels never heard about them before my visit. Snug harbor is a Staten Island gem.

HAUNT Reviews: This haunt was not scary. It was more like you entered into rooms and they did little skits.This is not your pop out high intensity haunt! The hayride was basic and short but the actors saved it!! VERY cool creepy vibe! The house was the best attraction of the night. To be honest, I would revisit just because it’s such a cool place. The staff was into it and actors good! Would vist if you live close to the area! Alex

The Staten Island September 11th Memorial - Staten Island

Allan Hunter: We went here by happenstance. We had taken the ferry as way of seeing the view from the harbor and discovered this beautiful tribute. It’s very beautiful and moving in its simplicity and elegant design. An excellent memorial for those who lost their lives on that tragic day.

The Conference House - Staten Island

It is called the Conference House since Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, and Edward Rutledge met with Lord Howe here on September 11, 1776, in an unsuccessful attempt to halt the American revolution. Surrounded by beautiful park. Nice modern viewing station overlooking Raritan Bay.

The Noble Maritime Collection - Staten Island

Erik Z: This is an amazing experience it contains a lot of information and features many amazing art pieces by John A Noble. Most of the maritime ship art is by Noble. The museum features 3 floors and offers many rooms that serve as recreations of old ship cabins. It lets you see what it was like living in one of the ships. It also contains tons of ship models. Theres actually so many things to see in this museum. Its hard to believe that its free. You can pay whatever you would like to see this museum. The staff were also very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend a visit.
