2 /5 Michaela Charter: I have been going to Angie’s since I was a kid. I haven’t been in a while and decided to go and get a wash and set. My hair is medium length and my curl pattern is 3b. I was charged $100 yesterday for a trim, wash and set, and a wrap. When I asked why so much, since it should be $75 $80 the most, they couldn’t fully explain to me why, since their English was limited (which is not their fault). What I was able to comprehend is that my wrap was $5 and trim was $5 so that means my wash and set was $90, which did not make sense. I was trying to point out the poster with the prices in which the trim was $10 and a wash and set should be no more than $75 (and that’s if they deemed my hair long, which it’s not), but they couldn’t completely understand me. My hair came out ok, not the best since the trim is uneven and I have some burn spots on my scalp. Overall, I paid $110 (total plus tip) and am disappointed in my experience, since I had higher expectations due to my previous experiences.
