Powder manicures & pedicures for over a decade and specifically at Art Nail Spa for the last year and have been happy with all the technicians I have had. Never have I had such a bad experience as I did today! I had who I assume was the manager that had the cordless phone to answer business calls. Of course they don’t wear name tags so I couldn’t tell you her name. Anyways as she was beginning to do my nails she stopped while using the dremel tool to look at her personal cell phone several times ( not just during expected soaking times which I could understand ). Then she was talking to text. Then she went into a full phone conversation with an ear pod all while trying to do my nails. Absolutely no respect for me as a paying customer. Because she wasn’t paying attention she cut one of my cuticle areas pretty bad. So I pulled my hand back (normal reaction) and said “I wish you would pay attention to what you are doing!”. She then stopped the call and it seemed take out her frustration that I interrupted her call by being very rough and cutting another one of my cuticles with one of the metal bits. That woman should not be in a managerial role mentoring that behavior with the other technicians let alone be able to touch anyone’s nails! Once done, a wonderful technician relieved her and cleaned up my nails as they were full of stuff under the nail and gave a great back massage! She saved my experience from 100% dissatisfaction. All the other employees there have been great but be weary if you get the one I got today!
