5 /5 Tisha Tucker: Blessings is my new go to spot for braids/twists. Esther did an incredible job and was soooo gentle. The shop was clean and quiet. Ive gotten so many compliments and loved my experience there.

5 /5 JoyWill75: I have tried two braiding salons here in Poughkeepsie and I was not happy with their work at all and unfortunately vowed not to return to either one. I googled other braid salons in the area and found African Hair Braiding Studio. I made appointments for two of my nieces (11 year olds). They were able to do their hair (knotless box braids) on the same day at the same time and the braids came out very pretty. It’s a nice, clean and new salon. Both ladies were personable and professional. I plan on returning for myself and with other family members.

5 /5 Discount_ Trashhh: My friend recommended this place to me and honestly Im glad I went. I Love it. I was prepared to sit for alot more hours but it was so quick. Ask for Esther she did my hair and I love it. She was so nice and professional. This was my first time during quarantine getting my hair done and it was very clean she wore a mask the whole time. No tight braids that hurt my head either. 10/10 place

5 /5 Shani Christie: Got my hair done by Esther. She’s so nice and you can tell she really wants you to have a great hairdo. She does take her time, but it’s totally worth it. Also, if you’re a little hesitant about them yanking your hair, here you don’t have yo worry about it. She was so gentle. Thanks a lot! Loved it here and will be back ❤️
