Instead of builder gel they gave me hard gel which is chunky and I did not want this not only that but the lady did not do my full nail. I got my nails done Feb 14 and 12 days later I need a full in . The service felt rush. They get 3 starts b/c the lady that did my toes was good .

Elite Nails - Bronx Victoria: Decided to try this place and NEVER AGAIN! The service is horrible! I started with one tech and in the middle of her prepping she told me another is going to take me. I thought maybe has someone else? No she just didn’t wanted to do my services. The other nail tech was so rude and very unprofessional. They sit by eachother left side. I told her and show her a picture how I wanted my nails and shape and did completely opposite. I kept telling her please fix this nail or please make the shape like I showed you and I told me I can get up from the chair if I don’t like it bc she has other clients to attends. The customer service from this place is horrible. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The upper management or onwer needs to change the whole staff if they want the salon to continue open. None of those nail tech know what they are doing and the funny thing is they all talk about eachother too. No one is professional there.
Lumi Nail Inc - Bronx Peja Miloti: This is such a gem in this neighborhood. I’ve gotten Japanese gel in Queens, and I’ve done my nails in Europe, but when I’m in the Bronx, this is my go-to. My first time there was with Angie, and I was impressed by her meticulous attention to detail in the shape of my nails. I knew immediately I’d be back. Today, I popped in after a few weeks abroad, and Maria took care of me for a hard gel chrome set, and I trust this woman so much! She took good care of me, explained how the color would be changed by the chrome, and gave me the best shape for my hands. I know there’s some reviews about the prices, but let me tell you, I’ve paid way more for way less in other places. Lumi is worth every penny, and the owners and workers are the friendliest I’ve known.

GOLDEN NAILS & SPA - Bronx R Brown: I initially came here to get my nails done and didnt like the outcome and Crystal rectified my nails asap. She redid them and I absolutely love the outcome. My nails are perfect for my vacation now. If this is your first time coming I recommend that you ask for an experienced technician for the best outcome. I would definitely come back.
K-SO NAILS - Bronx Lillian Gwyn: I recently visited Kso nails. I got a hard gel manicure. I keep my nails kinda short but I wanted a little trend with a oval shape. the nail tech did an amazing job and she selected an in trend color for me. I was very please with my nails. I highly suggest you check them out.
Gems Beauty Bar & Spa - Bronx Jazmine Miller: I love this place! The customer service is always top tier! This was the first time I went and they offered my wine and tea, I opted for tea.
I’m natural with type 4 A&B hair (see 3rd pic), and I usually do my own hair but I come here for trims and all the things I can’t do myself especially when I need a good silk press. Some of them are great with my hair and others are learning. I gave 5 stars because they listen and use or products OR teach you why a product may not get you the results you are looking for and they’ll recommend you a different product.
They also do everything thing here. Nails, eyebrows, body contouring, etc.
Last time I went, most of the staff spoke Spanish except for one but it’s nothing Google Translate or Apple Translate can’t fix. They were patient with me and my translation apps.
