5 /5 Veronica Novy: Calvary Baptist Church is an oasis and a treasure to many folks in need. On Wednesday morning from 10am to 1pm, you can come join the line and get at least one bag of groceries. Please bring your ID card and expect to wait about 30 minutes to an hour depending on when you join the line. Expect to receive kidney beans, spaghetti sauce, tuna fish and rice products. Some weeks you may get a dozen eggs and frozen pizza or bread.

5 /5 NO NO: I really enjoyed my experience at Calvary Baptist Church back when I was a member of the church when I lived in NYC. I just wish I would of found the church earlier back when I was living there. But I really love Calvary Baptist Church. The people are real friendly and are very helpful. They gave me my own dress suit to keep when I joined their church choir. Its a very loving and caring place.I would recommand that anybody that plans to be in NYC to stop by Calvary Baptist Church and check it out and see for your self. Pastor Hall is a great Pastor and so is his wife and kids.

5 /5 johnnie forte: tonight was a spiritually charged night wherein our CBC children ushered us into the presence of God. at times my heart was overflowing with gratitude for the powerful prayers and praises ths t our babies wear sending up.To God Be the Glory for the wonderful works that He pours out on the children of men.and the Nigerian prophetess ending the service with declarations of the POWER that our God gives to us when we acknowledge His Mighty acts in our lives was the proverbial icing on the Holy Ghost filled Came! a great service for a great people from the only Great God. and tomthink that this was just a sample of what Thursdays prayer is going to be. getting ready to prime my pump so I can receive the Living Water as Our Almighty God pours it out on His children.
