1 /5 Ana V: I find it terribly infuriating to have medical facilities impose name changes on patients after mergers or buy outs. I’ve been with CareMount since it was MtKiscoMedialGroup (MKMG) then CareMount. Now it’s optum! These business transactions are a reminder of the business model that should not exist within healthcare. What a disgrace. Keep patients out if your business decisions & quit changing office names! Optum is awful! Not just the name- since taking over, the quality has been awful-longer waits on the phone, poor customer service. Hopefully universal healthcare arrives in the US and merged and acquired practices are dissolved.

1 /5 Me Me: So i’m about to go to my radiology appt at 9:30am, and they call me at 8:52am telling me that the technologist didn’t show up and they need to reschedule my appt. Mind u i took a day off from work. So u mean to tell me u don’t have a backup? I have no words. Caremount is just sinking further and further. Every time i have an appt there is always some kind of issue. Either the nurse doesn’t send correct scripts or the internal medicine doctor is not educated enough on certain diseases, has no clue. Does not refer u to specialists either so u might as well slowly die. Terrible. Done with Caremount. Do yourself a favor and go to Northwell.

The way they Caremount Medical is managing their patients during this pandemic is simply incentive.and unprofessional Twice I tried calling to speak to someone regarding not feeling well and unless you can do a virtual visit they wont even speak to you. I am unable to do a virtual visit and was told by Emily who works with Dr. Bacay at Carmel office to call back when I can with no other assistance. I finally ask if my doctor could just give me a call please and I was told not until Monday and today is Saturday. Just horrible.

1 /5 Nisha Saxena: If I could give less than one star, I would. Nobody can give instructions - someone told me “go to a tan flat building” - are you serious?? Every single building in this Putnam Hospital Center area is a tan flat building. Extremely unclear directions and disconnected buildings - Caremount should not be affiliated with this hospital if they want people to be able to clearly find their location. Not only this, but also I had to wait nearly 30 minutes for my appointment. Very disappointed and would recommend literally every other Caremount over this one.

1 /5 D. Barcia: I miss my old private doctor that retired! This is my second child and I’ve had nothing but trouble with this organization! Changing my appointments without telling me, waiting for over an hour for each visit, and basically just going in, listening to the heartbeat, and going home. I haven’t had an ultrasound in over 3 months. Very disappointed and glad this will be our last child.

TactiGal Inc.: I typically am not one to write reviews although I generally looked to them when doing my own research. So I figured it was important to share my impressions. I must say, this facility has the most caring, patient and compassionate staff I have ever seen and with consistency. They are thorough and readily available to answer questions and help explain benefits. This is especially important for new patients. My spouse is a veteran and seeing how valued he is and how the staff provides for his care makes me incredibly happy. It’s not often enough thar we hear things are being done right or that our veterans are given the medical care they deserve. So to have found a VA clinic that ranks an A+ in my book is a blessing. We haven’t had much experience at other clinics but this one is definitely worthy of some praise and recognition!

IF I WERE HEDWIG: Carmel, NY location. Very clean place. My mother’s needs were quickly addressed. Very able young doctor and helpful staff. Although I have observation: my mom lives in local senior apartments where very few people use smart phones since they are not very visible and loud enough for old people use. Majority owns flip phones with big buttons. As is the case, I cannot believe they can complete the online registration at your outfit. However much I praised today’s service, I cannot see older people getting treated here unless accompanied by some family member willing to register them online.

Kelsey Garcia: The care in this hospital is amazing!Unfortunately , their pharmacy section is horrible. Besides not giving new comers a heads up on how their system works (they have a “pickup” window on the right which you go to after waiting on the left sides signless windows) to their ridiculous waiting time. One hour for saline nasal spray! It’s a very small tight spot and very uncontrolled with rude staff slamming on counters to get the elderly to go up to the window (pickup window)

annie: the staff, while some were inattentive, truly cared. that much, I could tell. especially the doctor that took care of my brother. we really appreciated her help, but the system as a whole here is not ideal at all. it didn’t feel like we were in safe hands—not because of the staff—but because everything was disorganized and there was a lack of communication both between the staff and with us. we were there on a saturday night around 9pm, so maybe that could be it? either way, please seek medical care elsewhere. that said, my brother’s reason for visit is a facial cut so I’m more critical because of that. I’m sure if we came in for a fever or a cold, it would be fine. so keep that in mind as well.

Ali: I have been visiting this medical center for dental work since I was a child. The. reception was much better with the woman who use to work there years ago. I called today at 5:31 and a woman answers the phone, as soon as I began to talk she put me on hold. I called back several times and the phone rang out and cut off. The office hours says they close at 6:30. I now have to travel from Manhattan all the way to Queens just to have a conversation, to see if they still take my coverage, Do better and be more professional! If I could leave a zero rating I would, terribly disappointed!!!!!
