And I felt so pretty when I left. The owner and her daughters were so nice and friendly. I really felt so comfortable with them touching my hair. They told me exactly what they were gonna do with my hair before even touching my hair. It’s the first time in a long time that I felt like coming back and doing my hair again . Highly recommended if you wanna feel comfortable and pretty.
Gladys Beauty Salon, Inc. - Jamaica Janelle Thomas: subpar work at best. They can’t work with 4C hair and constantly complaining in Spanish about how long my type of hair takes. And still didn’t get the color right. Wannabe hairstylists
Queens Beauty Parlor - Forest Hills Emma S: Lovely service and clean place. I got a lash lift and tint from Mamita. She took her time to make sure it was perfect and the environment was welcoming.
EDIT: The place is still all of the above minus the fact that the service done was a bit messy. When I got home there was tint and glue on my eye lids and only lasted about 1 week. I have had this service done many times at different locations and it has never lasted me under 3 weeks. So a bit disappointed in that.
Sebra Salon & Spa H2O - Jackson Heights David Lopez: Ive been getting my hair cut here for more than 30 years, and with hair stylist Josie for over 25 years. Shes terrific! Ive relocated from Jackson Heights to Flushing then to Forest Hills but always make the trip back here every 6 to 7 weeks. The staff are very friendly and the place is kept very clean and well lit. They have renovated and modernized the salon several times and without closing its doors. They cut and style hair for women, men and kids. I especially enjoy the hair wash after cut. It feels like a massage. Cost is competitive and customers keep coming back which is a great sign. I haven’t tried the spa so can’t speak to it.
Yummy Beauty Salon - Corona Briana Cartagena: They do good wash and sets and are super affordable but the service is not good especially if you dont speak spanish. I had my hair washed and put in rollers, then the lady that washed my hair left and all the stylists started leaving. Someone asked me who my stylist was and I told her I didnt have one just yet, I only had my hair washed and the lady that washed it went home. Another lady came back and finished up my hair for me. She was sweet but the overall experience was very awkward.
Victoria Salon Unisex - Corona Angela Figueroa: I when for the first time, and they make me feel like they now me for a long time. Victoria is great I recommend this place very good atmosphere. Thank you Victoria.
Yliana Beauty Salon - Flushing NYDRBARBIE 1: The stylists are knowledgeable and take pride in their work. They use very good products and take care of your hair leaving it healthy and beautifully styled.
Sky Beauty Salon - Elmhurst Yve Bug: LOVED IT! Salon is clean and modern. I was lucky enough to have Pedro work his magic on my hair. Pedro was not only very knowledgeable but he was super friendly. Pedros energy and personality made me feel confident (even though Ive never been there before and its been a year since my last haircut) that I would be satisfied with my hair after he got his hands on it.
