Has plenty of space at picnic tables to enjoy a picnic lunch in front of the scenic house as well, with beautiful views overlooking the water. Recommend checking out the visitor center nearby to learn more about the history of the conference house!

The nature paths, the main park area, the deck that faces a beautiful view of New Jersey, and also the spot on beach area that is southernmost part of NY state, are all things that I highly recommend. Whether youre a Staten Island resident, from the other boroughs, or a tourist, I think you should definitely go!

4 /5 Bobbi Marini: I like going when there arent people around. The last few times I went with my fiance, we were lucky. We only saw one or two people around far from us. We like to go to the beach and watch the sunset, and walk around and take pictures. Its so peaceful and beautiful. Sometimes we spot a family of deer. We stay out of their way so we wont scare them. I love that we can walk around and feel as if were alone and in another time and place. Kids and adults alike can ride their bikes around the park. Very nice and serene.

Noah Lwanga: My family and I went here a few days ago and had a great time. They have a great bike place that you could go to and rent bikes. It was so nice getting to ride bikes all around the island and seeing the stunning views of the city and skyline.

Shore Road Park and Parkway - Brooklyn

Mikeyy Lunarezz: If youre looking for a great spot by the lower hudson river with a perfect view of the verrazano bridge this is the spot to visit. You can go for a relaxing walk, bike ride of just sit and enjoy the great views. Youll also see the cruise ships pass by along with the nuc ferry boats. Keep in mind parking area is small but not impossible. Park located just after exit 2 on the queens bound belt parkway. Park is dog friendly however atleast the time I visited i didnt see any restrooms or a playground in the section I was sitting in.

Chrystal Torres: I absolutely love coming here to work out , it’s very spacious . They have all different types of rooms with different equipment . My only discrepancy is they don’t have a pool , as big as the establishment is. I think if they had a pool it would be a better establishment for all.

Mike Z: The park was renovated few years ago as part of North Park gateway work (it is one of 2 official entrances to Freshkills North Park). It has basketball court, baseball field, playground and comfort station. Only street parking is available.
