  • RiseNY - New York
    RiseNY
Anissa Cleaver: RiseNy is awesome! The museums exhibits on the subway system, radio, and news media were incredibly informative, and that 4D ride was breathtaking. Its amazing how it provided such a fantastic view of the city. Philadelphia would greatly benefit from having a similar museum.
Whitney Museum of American Art - New York
    Whitney Museum of American Art
FurY: Im a big fan of the Whitney Museum—its architecture alone is worth the visit, with open spaces and breathtaking city views. The Whitney Biennial never fails to impress, offering daring and insightful contemporary works. What truly stood out during my visit, though, was the Alvin Ailey performance. It was an unforgettable experience—full of life, rhythm, and creativity. The fusion of dance and art was exhilarating. Definitely a must-see!
Madame Tussauds New York - New York
    Madame Tussauds New York
Elana Davis: Enjoyable, self paced. The wax reproductions are very realistic, almost creepily so. The least expensive tickets were $100 for 2 people. I guess in NYC, that is considered reasonable, although Im not convinced it was totally worth it. My 14 year old didnt seem to like it, and I probably would have enjoyed it more if they had been into it. I did get some fun pictures, though. Also, the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
    Conservatory Water - New York
    Conservatory Water
Robson Carvalho: Conservatory Water in Central Park is a peaceful and picturesque spot, ideal for relaxing or enjoying a slower pace in the city. Known for its model boat sailing, it’s a great place to sit by the water and watch the small sailboats glide across the pond. The surroundings are clean, calm, and beautifully landscaped, with benches and shaded areas to unwind. Located near the Alice in Wonderland statue, it’s a perfect stop during a Central Park stroll. A hidden gem that captures the serene side of New York.
Waterfalls Central Park - New York
    Waterfalls Central Park
Rosa Hamblin: No waterfalls to speak of. Local city workers and police officers present had no clue what we were asking about when we asked for clarity on directions to the falls. This corner of Central Park was pretty, but watch your step! Homeless use the ground as their potty.
    The Ramble - New York
    The Ramble
Stuart Newman: During the day enjoy alone or with your partner. Feels like a quick escape from the city which often isnt visible in the Ramble. Its easy to relax or get romantic in a hidden spot near the pond. The fact that this is all landscaped doesnt detract from the natural, somewhat wild appearance. In the night, sunset to 1am a different wildlife usually appears weather permitting. If its not your scene, stick to daylight hours.
    Strawberry Fields - New York
    Strawberry Fields
Tasha K Bowens: Beautiful tribute! Yoko truly loved her man. The history of the memorial is sad and heartfelt at the same time. Just adds to the beauty of Central Park. We need more true, dedicated love like this in the world today.
Washington Square Fountain - New York
    Washington Square Fountain
Gracie grace: Pretty cool spot for a picnic or just a stroll on a beautiful day. Lots of locals doing yoga playing music just hanging out. Eem like Its a no drama environment;)
    Chrysler Building - New York
    Chrysler Building
Frederik Van Hecke: The Chrysler Buildings ground floor reception is an absolute hidden gem. Stepping inside for the first time, we were immediately struck by the Art Deco masterpieces exquisite interior. The polished, inlaid walls and the stunning ceiling mural create an atmosphere of timeless elegance. The craftsmanship is breathtaking, a testament to the buildings iconic design. Its a serene and beautiful space, a stark contrast to the bustling New York streets outside. A truly remarkable architectural experience that left us utterly impressed.
    Statue of Liberty -
    Statue of Liberty
Paul Ger: Visiting the Statue of Liberty was a great experience. Booking tickets in advance made everything seamless—from the ferry ride to pedestal access. Seeing the statue up close was incredible, and the museum at the base, with its exhibits on the statue’s history and design, was a real highlight. I had pedestal tickets, and while there’s a lift, it was temporarily out of service during my visit—so I took the stairs. It was manageable but might be challenging for those with mobility issues. The views from the top were nice, though not spectacular. Next time, I’d plan ahead for crown access, which needs to be booked months in advance. There’s one food court on the island offering pizza and burgers. As expected, the food was basic and overpriced—bringing your own snacks is a smart idea, especially with all the walking. Security was airport-style but efficient, and there were no issues bringing drinks or light snacks. Overall, it’s a must-see New York experience—perfect for photos, history lovers, and anyone wanting to connect with this iconic American symbol. Definitely worth the visit!
