5 /5 Holly MacDonald: The temporary exhibit Making American Artists : Stories from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts on view through May 11, 2025 is fabulous. It exceeded our expectations ! Highly recommend lunch at Louise. It is exceptional and unforgettable. All the museum and cafe staff were lovely.

3 /5 Kiana Tanghatar: NOTHING SPECIAL. We visited the museum on Saturday, it was free admission, they asked us to donate minimum of $1 per person. The building was very nice. The items weren’t special. It had small collection and some galleries were closed that day.

2 /5 Kirk R.: Went today for the Making American Artists exhibit. Overall, the exhibit was pretty good. A nice blend of modern and classic art, mostly displayed well. Unfortunately, the rate of $14 is on post with the MOMA, which is absurd. Theres 1/100th the art on display. Also, a staff member, chubby young man with a best and long hair, snapped at me for pointing at a painting. I told him I wasnt touching it only pointing. And he said, snapped for me to step back 3 feet. The placard with info on the art couldnt even be read at 3ft. It was rude and completely unprofessional. Also, the lighting on a few of the paintings is so glaring you just cant see well. All in all, I wont be going there again. Poor treatment of guests, and erythromycin a traveling exhibit, they just dont have much of anything at all. Not recommended.

5 /5 Grace Duncan: I recently visited the variety of programs from children in the area and I must say that it was a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the exhibits were very interesting and informative. The price was also very reasonable. The exhibits featured a wide range of topics, from animals, to science, to history, to art. It was great to see the variety of programs for children, and Im sure the kids found it very interesting. There were also some interactive activities that the children could get involved in, which was great for their learning. The environment was very pleasant and the staff were very friendly, which made it a great experience. I was even able to find some great souvenirs to take home as a reminder of my visit. Overall, I found the variety of programs from children in the area to be a great experience. It was interesting, educational and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful and the exhibits were interesting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place to visit. The only downside I found was that there were some annoying people there often, which could be a bit of a distraction. However, this didnt detract from my overall experience too much and I still had a great time. Overall, I highly recommend this place if youre looking for a great place to visit and learn.
