06-2025 Zero Latency VR - Destiny USA in Hight rate 7 location for tourist in Syracuse, NY, USA (part 2)Labrador Hollow Unique Area - Tully Yi-Shin Sheu: The 4WD road leading to the huge parking lot is plowed but covered in a thin layer of snow and the parking lot looks like it has ice underneath. The boardwalk is very nice and the snow is mostly packed down. You can also walk to the lake. Just be careful where you step as the ice is not that thick.
Split Rock Quarry Stone Crusher - Camillus Amanda S: I have been going here for years to hike my dogs . The place is massive, and there are just so many trails, and theyre shaded, so its cooler for the pups in the summer. I can let them run free here, and theres a lake for them to cool off in. Its one of my favorite places to go hiking around Camillus And I would definitely recommend checking it out if youre not from the area and want a place to go hiking thats cool to explore .
As for parking, there are a few different places to park .p I recommend parking off of Kasson Road or going by the Cummos meat market, as there are more parking spaces if you want to explore the area
Elmwood Park - Syracuse Rosana M. Hashim: This place is closed but I saw a lot of people so I went inside. It so pretty
Erie Canal Park - Camillus Leon Liepke: Not much there there’s a few things there to look at and explore the old ways of the Erie Canal looks like it’s set up nice for boy or Girl Scouts to learn and earn their badges there is a store but only open certain hours. Large pavilion for gatherings with a fire pit
Burnet Park - Christina Giacchi: Enjoyed a beautiful early spring day with my son. Got to see more of the animals we didnt get to see when we went last fall. And loving the elephant twins!!
Baltimore Woods Nature Center - Marcellus Crystal Wolfe: This Nature Center is absolutely gorgeous! The woods there are beautiful. They have a live turtle named Fern and lots of birds to view. Their gift shop is nice and they have a great winter Market once a month. Come check it out!
Clinton Square Ice Rink - Syracuse Kathy P: We took a day trip and walked around Clinton Square when the water wasnt frozen. It is a lovely area with beautiful buildings surrounding it. It would be great to see on the winter time with ice and snow.
