1 /5 J X: I recently visited this office for dental work and, unfortunately, I won’t be returning once they complete my treatment. The front desk staff seem to be trying their best, but there were consistent issues with miscommunication, lack of communication, and overall lack of care during my visits. If they take offense to this, as other reviews have mentioned, I have no problem finding professionals elsewhere—keyword being professionals.
Dr. Christie performed a cleaning for me, during which he failed to use suction, leaving me to deal with the discomfort of excess saliva pooling in my mouth. At one point, he even trailed ropes of saliva across my face. When the cleaning was done, he abruptly propped my chair up while I was still covered in spit, blood, and paste. Instead of offering to help clean me up, he acted as if we were done. I had to find paper towels on my own to clean myself off before leaving an office that I dont have an intimate understanding off like Dr. C should.
Additionally, I needed a referral to a specialist for a procedure they don’t handle in-office. The first referral they provided didn’t accept my insurance, which is understandable. However, it then took another week—and would have been longer if I hadn’t called to follow up—just to get a new referral. Even then, I was asked where I wanted to be referred, which felt unprofessional.
Throughout this entire process, Dr. Christie explained very little about the treatment I needed. Instead, I was bounced around with names, numbers, and dates, as if I wasn’t in control of my own healthcare. If you have sensory issues, value personal space, or simply want better care, I strongly recommend looking for a more professional dental office. Despite the efforts of some staff members, there are too many factors here that outweigh any positives
Update (1yr later): They continue to disappoint. If you can help it - dont come here - Im not going to retrigger myself by getting into the new details, but save yourself...
