1 /5 christina griffo: I’ve given Get Nailed multiple chances for years but unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing. During a visit a few weeks ago despite having an appointment, I waited 40 minutes before being seen, with no effort made to acknowledge or improve the delay. Additionally, when I wanted to tip my nail tech $10 using my gift card, the owners wife pressured me to tip more, expressing frustration that I didn’t use the full balance of my card—despite only receiving a regular acrylic manicure.
When I returned for another visit, the owners wife was noticeably hostile toward me because of the previous gift card situation. When I asked her to repeat the price at checkout because I hadn’t heard her, she shoved the receipt in my face and said, “$35.” Then, when I handed her the payment, she snatched the money out of my hand.
On top of the poor customer service, my most recent visit left me disappointed with the quality of my nails. I asked for a combination of Bubble Bath and Funny Bunny, but my nails came out noticeably streaky. For a salon that charges premium prices, I expected better attention to detail.
These experiences made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Respect and professionalism go a long way in any business, and unfortunately, I did not receive that here.
