3 /5 Patrick Bly: 2.5 First visit to this shop. People were friendly and supplied me with a loaner car. I think where they drop the ball (with me anyways) is communication. Appointment to have a windshield replaced under insurance. They say have it here by 8am and it takes approx. 3 hrs. 2 PM rolls around and I call and Im told the tech was pulled off my vehicle to another. From a business stand point I get it, youre getting $40 per hr from the insurance company vs your normal hourly rate, youre going with the vehicle first for the normal hourly rate. Then dont tell the customer 3 hrs if youre going to have the vehicle 8 hours, relay you have to drop the vehicle off for the day (simple). Or maybe call the customer at 11AM and state they are running behind but, we will keep you in the loop and updated on the progress. The photos indicate to me that after I called the pressure was on and they neglected to wear gloves, hence the grease on the pillar and the hand print on the dash. There is only one opportunity for a good first impression.
