My husband was seen weeks ago and sent for an MRI - so far to three different places that cant even do one. We asked it to be sent to the SPHP network since none of their 3 locations could schedule it.
Finally, after numerous phone calls and promises, a new script was sent to the new imaging location. FOR AN XRAY. Weve spoken to numerous office members and just nothing has gotten resolved. As of today, we are back to an MRI being canceled and an XRay being ordered again (he already had one). Im just disgusted with the entire thing.
I wouldnt recommend this nightmare to anyone. Meanwhile, my husband is in agony, cannot sleep, and whatever hes going to need, this office has made it painfully impossible to get to the next step of making a treatment plan. Absolute incompetence.
Jefferson Heights Family Care - Catskill o: Dr mckeon has been extremely rude every single time ive seen her over the course of 2 years. She has never once helped me, ignores me, refuses to treat condition i need treated, but tries to force me to take meds that i very clearly told her will make me kill myself. One time she just left, and didnt tell me the appointment was over or anything. I just sat in the room waiting until a nurse told me she had no idea why the doctor just left me there
Garnet Health Medical Center Heliport - Monticello Matt Hurtado: I took my mom to the ER and nurse practitioner Justin and nurse Priscilla were fantastic in helping triage and care for her throughout the day. I really appreciate their care and transparency throughout the process and would definitely recommend this ER facility.
Garnet Health Doctors - Harris - Harris Sarah Mills: The specialty doctors that my husband uses have been wonderful! However, Im giving 3 stars due to being unable to make follow up appointments. He saw the pulmonologist in June. Its supposed to be a 6 month follow up and theres only a template up until September?? WTH
Garnet Health Medical Center - Middletown Jordan: I was checked in the emergency department and greeted warmly & quickly which i couldn’t complain. All the issues started after when seeing the doctor. The doctor came in with a stiff attitude. I had my Son who’s a toddler but was in the emergency room for my daughter. She proceeded to make passive aggressive comments such as “you need to watch out for this one” referring to my son & when asked about my age she looked me up and down & goes “oh a baby” then shuts the door. I had a friend who was in even more disbelief about that comment than me. I’m a young mom i’m not new to getting prejudged about 2 kids at my age but this was just highly unprofessional. It was getting a bit late for my son as it was approaching his bedtime so he started misbehaving so i just wanted to leave. My daughter did not need to be hooked up to anything, no medications were administered, no further care besides waiting it out so i figured why can’t we just wait it out at home at this point. If i didn’t have my toddler i would have stayed the whole night but to me it just wasn’t worth it since we could’ve just done what we were doing in the hospital room at the comfort of our home. I went to the nursing station to find the doctor since she would have to be the one to discharge us & her stiff attitude came again along with a nurse named Jamie. When speaking to the doctor Jamie was looking at me like i had 5 heads then proceeded to insert herself in the conversation saying “you can’t just leave” & then when i lost it. I’m no stranger to mistreatment at medical settings which is unfortunate considering i came to seek care for my daughter not to get a judge & a jury. The cherry on top was this paper being in my discharge papers!
Catskill Urgent Care - Catskill Eryn Fischer: Can you imagine a doctors office denying a three-year-old boy who is having breathing issues and had to be picked up early from daycare? Ive been there many times. Because I didnt have the insurance card with me, they would NOT see him. I am truly speechless. The receptionist told me to go to the emergency room.
We have insurance, Im sure something could have been done to find whatever they needed off the card.
