1 /5 Catherine Fish: I had been to this nail salon a long time ago and wasn’t impressed. I heard there were new owners and Ruby wa s recommended as a nail tech. I called and MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH RUBY. When I arrived I told them I had called and made an appointment and was brought to a pedicure chair by a woman I assumed was Ruby. It wasn’t. It was Coco. Her pedicure was actually painful. She clipped the critical much too short, cut me with the file AND the large file that is used for filing calluses (ON MY ANKLE!!) The polish was a disaster. After each nail was polished, a major clean up was required.
Oh! There’s more. Initially when I saw a menu of services, there was a $25 pedicure. When I sat in the pedi chair, the prices started at $35. I chose a parrifin was pedi. When it came time for the wax... it was cold. OK, things happen.... I’ll change to a hot stone. Ouch! Not too hot, too rough.
I’ll stay with my regular guy. He’s further away and worth the trip. Not happy at Happy Nails.
