Both mechanics, Jim & Jim, are highly skilled, helpful, friendly and I always can rely on them to get the job done right, whether it’s routine service or a major problem. For unexpected problems that need immediate attention, they somehow find time for you and fix that problem as soon as their workload allows. They also provide you with an honest assessment of your problem and provide reasonable cost options. I recently had some routine service work done and was again very satisfied with the work that was completed.

5 /5 Jen Jones: We had transmission trouble during a road trip from Pennsylvania. No one else was open / would talk to us/ short staffed etc. The kind folks at JB agreed to look at our car and tell us what was wrong, what to do, even giving hotel recommendations when it looked like we might be stuck in town. They are very knowlegable and truly had “old fashioned customer service” I would 100% use them if I was local to this area. They even refused payment, but I insisted because their were generous of their time and I was extremely grateful. Strongly recommended!!!

Susan Garber: I was recommended to go to this shop, as I needed a state inspection and oil change, and had a great experience. This is a “Mom & Pop” shop and the couple that owes it are very down to earth people. Their daughter and son-in-law also work there, and everyone was very friendly and personable. They are also very honest and won’t tell you work “needs to be done” on your car that isn’t truly needed. My car currently has an open recall, but I was told by the dealer the parts were in a national shortage. Without even asking, Fox’s looked up, within a 250-mile radius, a search for who might have the part that I needed to see if they could find the part to complete the recall. They also helped explain to me what the recall was about and why it was important. Unfortunately, no one had the part, but I thought it was above and beyond that they checked to begin with and just reflects on their character. I will most definitely be going back.

Cajsa Young: made an appointment online and they did not honor it. appointment was confirmed, i showed them the confirmation, and he said online appointments don’t go through to the shop. no other explanation, no apology, no trying to get me in. why even have the option to make appointments online if you don’t actually take online appointments? unfortunately will not be coming back

Mr. (MilliRocket): Made an appointment one week in advance for an oil change, tire rotation, and balance, and the brake inspection. I had drop off was notified that they didn’t have the oil to do a Volkswagen oil change and couldn’t get it from their normal supplier. Auto parts store carries oil, but they had no one to get the oil. They did complete the tire rotation and balance, and stated that the brake system was fine. I notified them at the time the appointment was made, and also again when I dropped the car off a week later that the front rotors were warped and would need to be replaced and the pads. The service tech there when I pick the car up, stated the other tech did the work and left early so I assume no inspection was completed. The visit here was a complete waste of time. I had to take it to another shop who confirmed the front rotors were warped and replaced pads and rotors.. Other reviewers have commented this place is understaffed and very poorly managed.

Don Dowitsch: Extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability for their work. I had heard many positive things about this business, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t reflect that. We brought in a mower tire to have a new tube installed. After just one use, the tire was flat again. Upon inspection, we found a hole in the valve stem, most likely caused during installation. When we brought it back, we were told there was no warranty because the tire had been used. We were also told that we should have noticed the valve stem was improperly installed. I’m sorry, but I expect a professional to do the job correctly, that’s why we went to them in the first place. It’s incredibly disappointing that they refused to stand behind their service or the products they sell.

Matt Santee: They did great work on my truck after an accident and now it looks brand new again. Their customer service is great. The receptionist is extremely easy to work with and very helpful. It was also nice that I was called once a week to give me an update on the status of my truck. The interior and exterior of my truck were also cleaned (which I was not expecting) and they did an awesome job! I would highly recommend coming here to have work done.
