1 /5 Sarah Mckinnon: I heard bad reviews from people that I know but they were the closest thing to me at the moment. They charged me for hours that were unnecessary. They don’t call back bc they can’t handle owning this business & the race track that they own. I will not go there again

5 /5 Frank Clark: The internet isnt big enough for me to praise Jakes Auto service adequately! After having experienced poor workmanship, price gouging, and refusal to stand by their work, I am very pleased to have found people who really do care about the customers satisfaction and a competent crew whose members are experts in their field. I needed help with a very complex electrical problem, and it was diagnosed quickly and fixed to perfect operating order. As has been said by another customer "from the front desk to the mechanics in the back", JAKES is the place for better than fair prices and EXPERT repair work!

5 /5 Alicia Kanis: My husband and I drove up to Oswego to check out a vehicle we were interested in purchasing for me. He saw the day before that Jake’s Automotive was close by, so we drove the vehicle over for an inspection. Due to some minor things at the dealership, we got over to Jake’s only a short time before they closed, but they were gracious to do an inspection for us. Thank goodness they did! With only a short inspection, they found several major things wrong with the car (in addition to the fact it reeked of cigarette smoke), which would have cost us over $3-$4,000 at least, and advised us to run from purchase. The woman we interacted with was extremely personable, helpful, and knew what she was taking about. They were even kind enough to complete the inspection free of charge! If we are ever in Oswego again and need to have our vehicle looked at, or are looking to purchase a vehicle there, we’ll most definitely be going back to Jake’s Automotive!

5 /5 Shelby Lower: Would rather support a small and friendly business like this any day than a chain. The woman who answers the phone is always very knowledgeable and extremely kind. They have great communication when your car is in the shop and offer very reasonable prices. My husband and I regularly bring our vehicles here when they need work and always have a great experience!

1 /5 Michael Tierson: Suffice to say, I was directed to them for a rear end gear change. I did my own homework as to problems they might run into. I passed this info on to them. They assured me they could do the job in 2 hours plus parts...3 1/2 days later they tell me they cant do they gear change for the very reason I told them about but they tore my rear end apart before checking part/gear fitment. So they now had a reason to install way over priced installation kit parts . So to cover their incompetence I get charged $632 for a job that never should have happened. Total and complete Greed , Never again....and Terry told me she went gentle on me...what a joke of an operation.
