5 /5 Bill S: I was referred here from a friend and have bringing my car here ever since. Ive had a quote from 3 other places about a transmission shudder, was told I needed a rebuild even. Jim was able to use some kind of lube and fixed the problem for a fraction of the price. Was also told I needed a new exhaust manifold that would run over$600. Jim found that it was a rusted connection causing the loudness. My car runs better than when I bought it now! Hes a straight shooter. Garage inst some fancy place and it might take him a little while to get to your car but idc waiting. I just want my car fixed properly so hes the one I go to. Highly recommend

He passed my car for inspection knowing that my brakes should not of passed even when I mentioned I heard grinding and felt the brakes be sluggish on the release failed to mention my tires needed to be changed out. 2nd time was for a oil change and now I have to go to a professional garage because he screwed the cap on so tight its cracked and now stuck on. This guys a quack and will leave with more problems to con you into coming back.

1 /5 Bill Mcgarry: Shady character. Didnt look me in the eye, didnt extend his hand for a handshake. Made me feel like he thought I was just a chump to extort money from as far as he was concerned. Took 3 times as long and charged me twice what I said my budget was. Not friendly, not charismatic. Im surprised he is in business by how he acts.

1 /5 Bill Mcgarry: Left me without heat in the middle of winter and charged me 750 dollars for some light wiring and an inspection. Took over 3 weeks to do it. I guess he had a hard time with it so thats why he thinks I owed him 750. Go anywhere else.

1 /5 Darlene Curtiss: I dont know how this man is still in business. Doesnt care if he swears at a woman. Asked for an estimate but instead he fixed it without telling me how much it would be. Not only that he did a temporary fix ( a bandaid). I wouldnt suggest going there.

Bryan Bee: I had always heard good things about Ankers, but never had the occasion to bring my car in to them. A couple weeks back, I needed a repair done pretty urgently, they got me in within the week and convenient to my schedule. When I spoke to the tech about the estimate, I appreciated that they didnt talk down to me. Im a bit of a DIYer when possible, and they explained everything without being short or patronizing when I had questions. Even though the repair I had to get was more than I was hoping for, they explained everything and they were 100% correct about what had to be done. And the price was completely reasonable for all of the work. Unfortunately, after the repair the problem came back. I called them up, they got me in immediately and checked it out under warranty. It turned out that the problem was that the installed part itself was also bad (not really their fault), they redid the work and got the car back to me the same day with no charge. Im more than satisfied as its clear they stand behind their work. Im glad to see that their reputation is well-earned. I hope I dont need car repairs again anytime soon, but when I do I plan on calling Ankers.

Janelle Augustin: I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent experience. First, I want to say that I appreciated having a woman answer the phone when I called the shop. As a woman, visiting or even calling an auto shop can sometimes feel intimidating due to past experiences, so that small detail made a positive first impression. I brought in my 2013 Volvo XC60 because my air conditioning has been blowing hot air. After the inspection, I was informed that the issue was related to the catalytic converter, which needs to be replaced at a cost of $3,700. I was told this was also the reason for my check engine light being on and that once the code was cleared, the AC began blowing cold air again. However, this explanation raised concerns for me, as I’ve previously owned a vehicle with catalytic converter issues and never experienced any problems with the heating or air conditioning systems. When I picked up my vehicle later that night, the AC initially blew hot air, then began to cool but this tends to happen naturally during cooler times of the day, such as at night or early mornings. I drove the car again the following day in warmer weather and noticed no improvement. The AC continues to blow hot air even with the check engine light being off, so now the original AC issue remains unresolved. Additionally, I couldn’t help but notice that my vehicle appeared to have remained in the same spot throughout the day. While I understand the lot may be crowded, it left me wondering whether any work was actually performed. In the end, I paid $178 and feel no closer to a solution. I would have appreciated more transparency even simply admitting that the team was unsure how to address the issue rather than leaving me with unresolved concerns and unnecessary expenses. To further validate my doubts, my husband and I did some research and confirmed that a catalytic converter does not impact a vehicle’s AC system. This makes me question the accuracy of the information I was given.

He didnt want to be bothered. Said he works some where else he only does quick jobs. Said to many people touch my car. I said I also have a van over heating. He said probably head gasket its a big job I dont want to get into that. You basically make me waste my time coming there because on Google services says engine diagnostics. Website states you do everything. Should say only do small jobs or pick and choose jobs. Then I wouldnt have waste my time going there. This is a update to your comment. Ill change to 1 star now. 1st you said Tuesday morning. If you had said Monday morning I wouldve brought it back as I am off. I didnt ask you to stop what you was going. You couldve said you have to make an appointment instead of making excuses why you didnt want to be bothered. Its ok Bulldog Auto took me right in cleaned all the oil off found the leaks in a hour. They helped me make a video for proof and write me up their findings for $155. They took my van in with no problem.
