2 /5 Rachel Bates: I called to make an appointment and omg the girl on the phone was so rude Im glad I couldnt make the appointment. She very extremely rudely informed me "um dr. Kurtovic is RETIRED, this isnt even his office, so..." so I tell her he was on my cdphp find a doc. And I pushed the number for kinderhook but it gave me to you. Forgetting apparently she JUST told me I called the wrong office, she tells me "well, just because of what isaid doesnt mean I cant schedule you for either place" and then proceeded to explain to me how the phone number I called work like I was stupid. I was so mad I hung up on her and I absolutely will NEVER USE a doctor from kinderhook or valatie, nor will I ever reccomend it.

1 /5 michael oconnor: IMPORTANT! The previous reviews are no coincidence! Made an appointment on April 1st to be seen on June 1st. Sure no big deal, it is understandable with the pandemic. Thats untill i was told my appointment that I made wasnt there anymore (thus it was never created). If you are looking for a new doctor, primary care, good experience as a receptionist or anything even refering to their ergent care next door. STAY AWAY! GO TO HUDSON OR ALBANY!

5 /5 Hagadone Andrew (Crazy cat guy): I have to get frequent blood tests for kidney failure, and this place lets your just walk in and give them your doctors request form like a prescription at a pharmacy. No appointment needed, no headache, just gotta wait a bit. 20min tops.

2 /5 V.A.: Contacting them by phone is extremely difficult. I understand if theyre busy, but at least answer and place us on hold. Instead, the phone rings so many times before simply disconnecting.

5 /5 Richard Hallenbeck: I go to this lab for blood work. The Phlebotomist (Leanne), is superb. Friendly, quick and painless. I try not to go anywhere else.

Sharry Gibson: Most of the staff are pleasant to deal with however the running of the office is subpar. I am new to this practice and myself and my child have had at least 4 visits between ourselves. Each appointment we are early or on time for yet we wait close to 30 -40 minutes before we are brought in by the nurse who takes the usual - weight/blood pressure. It doesnt seem to matter what time of day our appointments are either as we have had both mornings (8AM) and afternoons (3PM). Then we wait another 10-15 minutes before the doctor comes in. Now the most recent is mind boggling. At the annual last year my child was told they needed a NYS required vaccine for 12th grade yet they couldnt give it on that visit because they did not have it in stock. Now this year at the next annual they did not mention the required vaccine. Since my child went to this appointment alone they did not bring it up either because they were unaware and I forgot to remind them. So I called to ask about the vaccine and again they do not have it in stock and do not see them having it in stock in the near future. I was told that yes they realize it is required in order for a child to attend school and to call the Dept. of Health.

Anthony Phillips: Always have a pleasant experience over 20 plus years but yesterday on 12 9 2024 we were greeted by a medical assistant that did not say a word except room 2 after this she came in and didnt say anything to us she took temp, oxygen level and blood pressure and instead of asking me to step onto the scale she just asked me my weight Im sorry but I think you need to explain to her she needs to show a little compassion after all these years I have never had to write a review like this Im sorry to the rest of the employees that I had to do this.

I dont have my smile anymore my gap is bigger my teeth dont match and he ground down my canines at least in the back cant really notice in the front I do not recommend him as a dentist and their office doesnt remind you of an appointment and takes you off of their client list if you miss an appointment because they didnt call you to remind you I know its kind of on me but its also kind of on them too its their job to remind us worst dentist ever

Christine K: The lack of ability of this office to get an MRI sent to an actual place that does them is astounding. My husband was seen weeks ago and sent for an MRI - so far to three different places that cant even do one. We asked it to be sent to the SPHP network since none of their 3 locations could schedule it. Finally, after numerous phone calls and promises, a new script was sent to the new imaging location. FOR AN XRAY. Weve spoken to numerous office members and just nothing has gotten resolved. As of today, we are back to an MRI being canceled and an XRay being ordered again (he already had one). Im just disgusted with the entire thing. I wouldnt recommend this nightmare to anyone. Meanwhile, my husband is in agony, cannot sleep, and whatever hes going to need, this office has made it painfully impossible to get to the next step of making a treatment plan. Absolute incompetence.

She has never once helped me, ignores me, refuses to treat condition i need treated, but tries to force me to take meds that i very clearly told her will make me kill myself. One time she just left, and didnt tell me the appointment was over or anything. I just sat in the room waiting until a nurse told me she had no idea why the doctor just left me there

Sienna Banana: He is an exceptional dr. He is very pleasant and unjudgemental. It may seem, sometimes, that in the busy hectful days at the office, he isnt listening, He is. He doesnt leave any loose ends . He has no hesitation in ordering additional tests or recomending a specialist. His Nurse is great. Any time that I have called the office with concerns, the Nurse has returned my call within 2 hours. Ive been seeing Dr. Merkhan for almost 25 years. And I feel lucky. At one time I was going through some issues, he called me at home over the weekend, to see how I was doing. That is true.
