06-2025 Lagoon Park in Hight rate 14 location for tourist in Canandaigua, NY, USARoseland Wake Park - Canandaigua Phillip Trautman: We booked our son and his friend (both 13) for the Learn to Ride package for his birthday. The staff was fantastic the whole time we there. They had them geared up and in the water within 10 minutes. Everyone there was incredibly encouraging and knowledgeable. They all gave the same advice and instruction and both of our riders moved on to the Big Bro after one trip out and back on the Little Bro. Plenty of staff on hand who were all very friendly, facilities were really clean. We had a great experience.
A bit of advice if you are booking novice riders - book earlier in the day as it was less crowded (though even when it started to fill in there was ample staff, space, and time for all the riders), and they speed the Big Bro up a little at 2 (both of our riders handled it fine).
A-pluses all around.
Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures - Canandaigua Corey Merritt: I only did the zipline this time. Good views, great for first-time ziplines. Some hiking, nice rappel at the end. Lots of safety precautions. Katie, one of our guides, made it a very enjoyable experience.
Goshen Historic Track Inc - Goshen Adi A: Great place, my second time visiting, this time with family kids loved the horses and the owners and jockeys was nice to lets us pet the horses, personally I dont like the usage of animals for Sports and Competition
LEGOLANDĀ® New York Resort - Goshen Nandy: Its a great place to go with kids. We had so much fun on the different rides! Depending on the ride, you can wait a little longer, and it doesnt feel worth it. The hotel lobby was freezing, and the complimentary breakfast tasted terrible. We bought food from a diner. There are several outside food options not too far. The park food was good. Staff were friendly and its a clean park. I would come again, and you definitely get your money worth with a day pass. If you book a room , its not necessary to stay more than 2 nights. We got on almost everything within that time frame. I wish they created a bigger water section. Its so nice and the kids love it.
Miniland Goshen - Goshen Gemma Bunyakiat Petri: The miniland is very nicely designed, some look so real. We enjoyed looking at the details they put for each location. There are many important buildings like US capital, Washington Monument, the statue of Liberty, etc. There were interactive systems you can play and have fun with the displays. Thomas Bull Memorial Park - Montgomery Avionne Philyaw: Great place for dogs to run. Its a huge area that offers lots for them to sniff and explore. The areas are separated so you have 1 area for large dogs and another for small dogs. There are also benches for owners to sit on. I highly recommend this dog park. Its awesome!
Salesian Park - Kathleen Cisek: My new favorite dog park, right in Goshen! Turn in where the Masonic picnic area is and keep going to the old school. Fence is at least 5 ft, great gates, grassy hills for dogs to run about, trick jump, tunnel, platform, benches and picnic tables. Bring your own bags and water/water dishes. A few trees for shade, ample parking. Its secluded and lovely here to relax or run about with my dog. He sure loves it :)
