1 /5 Liz Kalina: Ive been going to Le Charme for years and had mostly positive experiences, so I thought long and hard before writing this review. I went in for a regular manicure and pedicure.
The pedicure went great and was quite relaxing. Then when we transitioned to the manicure tables, the only station available was cluttered with food and other peoples bags. The technician didnt soak my nails to loosen the cuticles, instead she pulled out one of the nail dremels (usually used for acrylics) and used it on my natural nails. After she was done my cuticles were bloody and my nails had deep scratches and grooves into them. I was in shock and went to wash my hands and tried to decide what to do. The manager came to check on me because she could see that I was upset and settled me down, I stayed for the rest of the manicure. But now hands of hurt this entire week, randomly bleed and my ring finger is starting to get infected.
The staff there is really nice, but I need to share this story because clearly they are not properly training their technicians. I also didnt see them using disinfected tools. I think the tools she used on me were used on other clients, which probably explains the infection. I will be finding a new go-to nail salon.
