1 /5 Gabrielle Eluma: Horrid customer service. I was a walk-in. I requested the soak off of my previous full set, a new full set, and a pedicure. The employee who started my nails wanted to remove it aggressively with a false nail tip but I politely refused. I explained my nails was currently in a sensitive state. He, then, turned to the owner and a few employees to further discuss. Prior to the soak and file I disclosed one of my nails had began to bring me pain. The employee became annoyed and disgruntled. I received burns from the filing machine on multiple nails. I expressed the pain and discomfort politely, I stated it was fine whenever he apologized. He seemed extremely frustrated and dismissive, then he discovered the nail broke in half underneath the acrylic. After the soak off session, the employee started to apply the tips to my nails. I expressed that the fourth nail was crooked. He began speaking loudly to the owner and the other workers. An employee approached me stating “What’s your problem?” I was shocked and appalled by the way she spoke; her tone, her attitude, her demeanor, and the question. I asked what she meant and explained the application was extremely crooked. I could feel the pressure and energy shifting to an unfriendly and unwelcoming environment. I, then, asked her if I was a bother or if I required too much. Explaining that if I was, I could go somewhere else but it was their choice. She began to raise her voice and constantly asking if I wanted to leave. I said again, it was their choice. She took a seat replacing the man, grabbed my hand, and started working on my nails. Still constantly asking if I wanted to leave. After grabbing my hand aggressively she applied one tip, she then asked if the tip placement was ok or if I wanted to leave. She did not give me a chance to answer, she started cutting the tips haggardly and attempted to pry a glued on tip from my fingernail. At that point, I told her I would rather pay for the services completed and allow another shop to remove the four tips. She said ok, seemingly relieved. I paid and left. I would not recommend this nail salon. Please be mindful if you choose this establishment. Or just do not express discomfort, displeasure, or undermine the service in which you spend your hard earned money and the results that will be stuck on your person.
