    Behzad Maghsoudlou, MD - Middletown
Audra S: I dont typically do reviews of doctors. However, I am not sure I can even put into words how thankful our family is for Dr. Maghsoudlou (aka Dr. Mags)!! He LITERALLY has saved my fathers life at least 2 times!!! He has been treating my dad for Parkinson’s, lewy body Dementia, Parkinson’s Dementia, seizures, etc over the past 2 years. Dr. Mags saved Poppys life when he had Encephalitis, infection in the brain. The other hospital doctors stopped treatment that was working! Treatment that Dr.Mags had started. And 2 days later Poppy was back to being hospital & bed bound. The treatment was restarted after we got ugly at the hospital. And Dr.Mags did orders from home to restart the treatment. Poppy was discharged home 3 days later!!! If it were left to the other doctors he would have died from Encephalitis being untreated!!! He has come through for us on multiple occasions during hospital stays!! One time upon hearing Poppy was in the hospital, Dr.Mags showed up in his hospital room within 30mins!!! Other times if he cant physically get there, he made himself available for phone consult with the other doctors. And would enter orders & medications from wherever he was. Dr.Maghsoudlou may seem rushed at times, but he isnt really. I truly think that is just because his brain is just going so fast taking in all the information, including what he is physically seeing and thinking of possible causes & this treatment plans. He is very quick thinking. Our family will forever be grateful for the care Dr.Maghsoudlou provided & provides to Poppy!! He is intelligent, knowledgeable, caring and available in the times we have reached out in need! Anyone would be lucky to have him as a doctor in their team!!

St. Anthony Community Hospital - Warwick
    St. Anthony Community Hospital
jason G: Was treated at St Anthony for a very bad nosebleed. The ER was very busy, with only one doctor on staff. After some time my nosebleed stopped, after sitting for a couple of hours, the doctor released me. Since, i never had such a bad nosebleed, i specifically asked the doctor if he should pack my nose to prevent another nosebleed. He felt like it was not necessary, and i was released. I drove home which is only 3 blocks from the hospital. As soon as I walked in my nose started bleeding extremely bad, causing me to swallow blood. My wife called a ambulance, once the ambulance arrived I was brought back to St Anthony. After the bleeding was stopped, my nose was packed with cotton bandage and i was released. The time between my first admission to my second was less then a hour. To my surprise the hospital not only charged my health insurance twice, but charged me two co-payments. I felt that this was unethical behavior since i was treated for the same condition, and if my nose was packed the first time, there would be no need for a second admission. The billing office called me back and told me that it was two separate admissions, and that on my first admission i was “anxious to go home” , which i felt was very unprofessional. They informed me that they would have to speak with the hospital staff, and get back to me, I still have not heard back from the billing office, and continue to receive invoices. This used to be a great community hospital, in fact I have had two of my grandchildren born at St. Anthony. This review is also not a reflection of the amazing nursing staff, or the overwhelmed physician, only of the hospital administration.

Jory F: Nice people but they misdiagnosed me. I had a heart attack when I left their office after an EKG. I went right to the hospital where they performed the EKG correctly. They also gave me an appointment with a primary physician who was not an MD So theres that as well I dont trust their competency now so I will never go back.

Lisa Schreffler: My mom’s visit with the doctor. He was incredibly nice and relatable. Very down to earth and funny. If you’re looking for a stuffy doctor this is not your guy. When he spoke he spoke to both of us. It was a very pleasant visit. My mom was worried that she would get someone she didn’t connect with. When we left she was so relaxed and happy with the doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.
    Dr. Steven J. Fishman, M.D. - Goshen
Carol OConnor: After going to several dermatologist Dr. Fishman was going to be my last stop before heading to NYC to my old dermatologist. His entire office from receptionist, Jessica ( the assistant) she was wonderful, to the checkout guy they were all were polite, professional and reassuring. Jessica did not rush me. She listed all my concerns. Only waited less than 5 minutes to see Dr. Fishman. He was very professional, thorough and put me at ease immediately. I would highly recommend him.
Jenny Cabas Vargas, MD - Goshen
    Jenny Cabas Vargas, MD
Jeff Greiff: Dr. Vargas has been an invaluable asset to my health, and I would be lost without her. As a fellow healthcare professional, I am consistently impressed by her exceptional attention to detail, diagnostic acumen, and compassion. Her support throughout my flare has been crucial. She is the physician that even other doctors turn to for their own family and friends. Furthermore, her proactive follow-ups and availability via text for any medical concerns or updates make her exceptionally accessible. I am grateful for her unwavering support on both the best and worst days. My hero doesn’t wear a big red cape—my hero wears a white coat.
