  • Huguenot Nails - Staten Island
liv: The service was going well very kind people although I was cut and bleeding quite excessively at the cuticle they didn’t give me a discount which would have been more ideal the cut was pretty bad and is still bleeding hours later
    Polished - Staten Island
Tiffany R: This is my favorite nail salon on Staten island. They consistently do a great job and I never feel rushed. Its comfortable, clean, and the nail techs are just wonderful! You pay more than you would at some places but in my opinion it is absolutely worth it for quality self care time!
Nails design certified - Staten Island
Lala Minnie Beauty Nail Spa - Staten Island
Nadia Kausar: Annie and the entire team at Lala Minnie are exceptional! They always make me feel welcome and cared for. The attention to detail and love they put into their work is impressive. My nails always look and feel amazing! Thank you, Annie, for consistently delivering outstanding service!
Viva Nail & Spa - Staten Island
Valerie Tagliavia: Just had the best leg and foot massage pedicure! Karen? spent a good 50 mins on my pedi....granted its off season and she had the time as it was not busy, but it still impressed me that she spent the extra time that she had. I dont like a hard massage and here is perfect. I tipped her well for it to show my appreciation. Glad I came. My toes are my toes....they can only look so good btw...lol
H&L nail salon - Staten Island
Allison Cunningham: Do NOT go here! It was a little dingy, but a friend recommended it, so I gave it a try. I wanted a powder dip. It looked like it was done by a toddler! There was glue all over my hands and caked underneath my nails. Lily said it wasn’t her fault… that I shouldn’t keep my nails so short! So rude!!!
    Blossom Nails - Staten Island
Glenda: Love love love my nails! Leah did an amazing job and she is so sweet. Her attention to detail is phenomenal.
Nail It Up - Staten Island
B: They have a nice color selection and I like that they have the gel colors in books so that you can easily see and choose your color rather than rummaging through a basket of fake nails. They also do a decent pedicure. However - EVERY time I go there my gel manicure turns out so thick and bumpy and peels off within days. They do very thick coats of polish and multiple layers of top coat. The polish pools near my cuticles and ends up lifting when I take a shower. **Updating my review - decided to give them another try and do dip powder instead of regular gel and they did a flawless job.
Pretty love nail spa - Staten Island
Brianna Meneses: Only good thing was that the salon was clean and nice. I asked for a certain design, the girl saw the picture multiple times and said confidently that she was able to execute the design. When she finished, it looked like she did them with her eyes closed. Looked nothing like the picture, nails are all different sizes, didnt add the gems and still charged full price for them. Only good thing was that my fingers didnt hurt after but other than that, the nails are awful. This is what I asked for and this is what I got. Disappointed.
    Manieed Salon - Staten Island
alex andria: Tried Manieed Salon after hearing they were under new ownership. Called and made an appointment, everything was a breeze. Staff is super nice and accommodating especially woman at front desk. I believe Rachel did my nails. I got an acrylic gel manicure with French design, and a green tea spa pedicure with gel French design as well. I do not remember who did my toes but they were satisfactory, nothing to really complain about. However, my hands were a different story. Rachel had to redo the French many times, I was sitting in the chair for an hour and a half. She made me bleed on one finger which added on to the time. Worst of all, the French tip design was uneven, the nails were glued on uneven, cut and shaped uneven, and the best part - my left ring finger nail popped off clean .. in my sleep only 7 days later. After paying $160 total. My job isn’t strenuous on my hands so I definitely did not do anything to break it. I contacted them via Instagram and they offered to redo my nails for free but I would rather go somewhere I know will do a good job. 10/10 for customer service and accommodations, 3/10 for technician skill levels. Writing this strictly to inform other neighbors who are also thinking of trying this place. Be prepared to pay a lot for very little.
