Ed Tubridy: I was in town for a quick visit and I wanted to see the Hudson River up close. This is a great place to do it. Itβs dog friendly and I met some local people just hanging out and they told me it used to be an insane asylum. The most excellent experience.
Andrew G: Very enjoyable. Its a single small home with a good Christmas light and decorations. When you arrive you tune into FM Radio 87.9 and the music there is coordinated to the lights on the house and yard. It was very enjoyable, its on a small road off of Route 9 in Poughkeepsie. Good for pictures and videos with the family, and its convenient that you stay in the car. You can park close, and then U-turn and see it from the other side of the street. There is a donation box for items to go to the ASPCA out front if you wish to donate, but otherwise, it is free to visit. A nice, fun evening and you can play the music in your car as loud or quiet as you wish.
