The professionalism and quality of work you get here are phenomenal. Cost for digital perms are much more reasonable than anywhere else Ive looked in Queens and Midtown. They start at 280 and increase depending on hair density, hair length, or other add-ons.
My stylist was Erica and she is as skilled as she is generous. I absolutely loved her work. She added such dimension to my hair with the perm using both S and C curls. My hair was so dry from using the wrong products and her hydrating treatment left it silky smooth. She also offered to trim my hair on-the-house (because my hair was that dry and she said she felt pity for me hahaha).
I actually ended up coming here twice because my root touch up didnt take at first. Erica was incredibly professional and lovely, I was able to return to have it redone at no extra cost. At this second appointment, she showed her expertise by being able to color match my hair pretty well despite the odd transitions throughout due to heat styling.
Erica was also very accommodating with my schedule. I told her that I work a very busy schedule as a resident physician and wouldnt be able to come in right away - she was able to fit me in, even when it was 3 weeks after my first session and I called last minute when I found out I could get out of work early.
The atmosphere here is calming, clean, and relaxing. An overall wonderful experience and I highly recommend Erica!

He listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me great recommendations based on my hair type. Instyle Hair Beauty Salon - Forest Hills Edward Wenglin: I made an appointment with Winnie. Thanks for Allysa Dong’s review posted a year ago. Winnie was very friendly and spent one hour on cutting, designing, washing, and styling my hair. She even shared some tips how I could style my hair in the morning before leaving for work. The price was very reasonable, including tips, which was $30. I definitely will go back to this salon.
Hair By Ester - Kew Gardens Andee Carroll: Ester is the best! I flew from Texas to see her as I couldn’t find anyone who specialized in curls and was so knowledgeable. From the moment I reached out, my experience was phenomenal. Scheduling was easy and she kept me so comfortable during the process! Lots of snacks, all meals ordered and Netflix to keep me entertained.
Results: My hair is very rare, naturally fine, curly and dark blond blended with highlights. Lots of dimension. The match was perfect! I almost cried during the reveal. It didn’t feel any heavier than my natural hair. Very light, perfect amount of volume and so comfortable! I’m tender-headed and was shocked by how comfortable the install and wear was. The curls were so easy to maintain. If you are interested in more volume and/or length, there’s no one better!
Xcellent Hair Square - Flushing Floira Benitez: I wish i could have a negative 0 rating .purchased a $4.99 product and trusted the lady at the register with the color suggestions. I opened to try it, and its completely different. Ran right back to the store to exchange it for one that cost $12.99, and they refused. The manager explains that based on my nationality, my hair is different, so the color is different. He clearly said that because Im not Asian and my hair is curly, it doesnt look the same. Very racist and unprofessional. When they first opened their service was good but now its trash.
STATION HAIR Artist - Queens jason he: 11/10 !!! I was nervous about going to a salon for my first time because Ive only gone to barbershops and I am very specific about how I want my hair. My friend reccomended this place and i was lucky enough to work with Angie. She was not only amazing but understood the mission completely!!! I showed her videos and pictures of what I wanted and by the time I was done, I was a brand new person that got exactly what he wanted. I cant wait to tell everyone about the experience and my perm made me look like a kpop star

Came across Amiris hair salon through a Google search as the Top 10 best hair salons in the area. I must say Google was not wrong for mentioning Amiris as the top 10 best hair salons in Jackson Heights.
My hairdresser was Paula (Loved her). She was very nice, attentive, and a true hair dresser that cares about your hair and makes you feel welcome.
The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and professional.
The salon is immaculate and clean. I never been to a hair salon so clean and well organized as Amiris hair salon.
Finally, I found a hair salon that is honest, customer service oriented, welcoming, friendly, quality over quantity when it comes to your hair. I am glad I found this hair salon and will be my permanent spot.
