Davs - Hudson Tina Martinez: First time in 20 years Ive ever gotten actual blisters before, and I always go to the Walmart salons. I just normally dont go to THIS Davi Nails. And no, the wax wasnt hot.
I went back in and complained and they acted like this was normal redness. They said some people are just sensitive and refused to discount my payment or refund me. I walked away because none of them spoke good English and both of the people I spoke to refused to help me. I was getting nowhere and I wasnt going to be the lady who started screaming in WalMart.
DO NOT get your face waxed here if you care about your health or customer service. Clearly they dont either.
Hudson Nails - Poughkeepsie Anquinette Hayles: Hudson Nails, offers a range of services, I went for a nail gel fill and a pedicure. The salon is clean and has a friendly staff, from the front desk to the nail techs everyone is warm and inviting. I sometimes have to wait a little past my appointment but who cares the service is great and the area is peaceful.
Empire Beauty Spa - New York C T: I love this place. This is my first time at Empire Beauty Spa and everyone makes you feel welcomed. They greet you with a smile, they assist you and they give you a bottle of water. I had a gel manicure and it came out perfect. Doma did an amazing job. Thank you guys.
Hastings Nails & Foot Spa - Hastings-On-Hudson Rob G: At the last minute we are in an unfamiliar place and wanted to pamper ourselves. We looked up this place and saw the reviews were really good. OMG this was the best salon experience i have had minus the wine lol. The ambience, the music, the seamless movement from one station to another, the gentle touch, the gentle pushing on the cuticles, and the staff were all amazing. I am definitely coming back here all the way from NJ. If you are in the area you definitely need to come get your nails done here.
Blossom Nail Spa - cornwall-on-hudson - Cornwall-On-Hudson Rita Treacy: Blossom Nail Spa was recommended by a co-worker. The minute I walked through the door I knew it was the right place for me. No loud music or blaring TV and beyond clean. They take their time with every customer, you never feel rushed. John, Esther and their staff are extremely kind and professional.
TJ Nails & Spa - Cortland Chloe poso: I LOVE MY NAILS!!! The artist did an amazing job! I called ahead and secured a spot but I believe they take walk-ins. They were very kind and clean and the nail tech did her thing! They told me prices up front and told me the price for every add on. They even give you a shoulder/ back massage. She even helped me find matching colors to the inspo pictures. I really enjoyed my time spent here for my birthday and I will definitely return!
Sky Nails - cortland - Cortland Hailee Dorau: I’ve been going here for over a year now and I’ve never been disappointed! I rarely ever have an issue but if I do it’s fixed and they’re so polite! It’s my favorite nail salon by far and I don’t plan on going anywhere else. I’ve gotten acrylics with regular polish, gel polish, french tips, different nail shapes and lengths, pedicures, and waxing from here and I’ve never been disappointed! Highly recommend!
Relaxation Nails &Spa - Cortland Alicia: First time here and had a great experience. Pedicure was done by Kyle, he was gentle and did an awesome job. Summer did my UV get nails full set $60 with 2 ring finger designs for $5 for both. Complimentary back massage in the chair felt great. Her work was very clean and precise. Def would recommend! The entire experience was great and will be coming back here again.
Ann Phillips Nails and Spa - Cortland Patricia Hess: I’ve been going to Ann for a couple months for my eyelashes and have been so happy. They look natural and they last three weeks to a month today. I decided to also try out getting my nails done there. I usually go somewhere else but oh my gosh, I am so happy and my nails look so good. She did not just the top of my nails, but underneath my nails. They don’t look rushed. She even picked out the color and I am thrilled. ! Highly recommend!
5th Ave Nail Spa - Poughkeepsie Tay Sen: First time here and will never be coming back. My friend and I made a last minute appointment, and were able to get in, which was nice. However, the service was horrible. My friend got her nails done and everyone who was working was rotating to do her nails because they were having difficulty. When my friend said she did not like the design, one of the male staff members walked away yelling and another woman had to take over. Our appointment was at 12:30 and she was scheduled for a fill, and it took 2 hours. One of the other staff members also tried popping her wart on her finger after she expressed that it hurt and she did not want them doing so. For me, I had a similar issue, just not a complete staff rotation. I was getting nails for my friends funeral, and wanted a tiny heart. She was struggling to do the heart and I started feeling bad for being picky, so I settled for a heart on each pinky, which were different sizes, not centered on my nail, one is at the top of my nail, and the other is in the middle. I also found it disgusting that there is a fly trap inside of the place that looks like it hasn’t been replaced in months. Both me and my friends nails together were over $100, and completely sloppy. I would not recommend this place as it is a waste of money, and the staff is extremely disrespectful.
