Relaxation Nails &Spa - Cortland Alicia: First time here and had a great experience. Pedicure was done by Kyle, he was gentle and did an awesome job. Summer did my UV get nails full set $60 with 2 ring finger designs for $5 for both. Complimentary back massage in the chair felt great. Her work was very clean and precise. Def would recommend! The entire experience was great and will be coming back here again.
Ann Phillips Nails and Spa - Cortland Patricia Hess: I’ve been going to Ann for a couple months for my eyelashes and have been so happy. They look natural and they last three weeks to a month today. I decided to also try out getting my nails done there. I usually go somewhere else but oh my gosh, I am so happy and my nails look so good. She did not just the top of my nails, but underneath my nails. They don’t look rushed. She even picked out the color and I am thrilled. ! Highly recommend!
5th Ave Nail Spa - Poughkeepsie Tay Sen: First time here and will never be coming back. My friend and I made a last minute appointment, and were able to get in, which was nice. However, the service was horrible. My friend got her nails done and everyone who was working was rotating to do her nails because they were having difficulty. When my friend said she did not like the design, one of the male staff members walked away yelling and another woman had to take over. Our appointment was at 12:30 and she was scheduled for a fill, and it took 2 hours. One of the other staff members also tried popping her wart on her finger after she expressed that it hurt and she did not want them doing so. For me, I had a similar issue, just not a complete staff rotation. I was getting nails for my friends funeral, and wanted a tiny heart. She was struggling to do the heart and I started feeling bad for being picky, so I settled for a heart on each pinky, which were different sizes, not centered on my nail, one is at the top of my nail, and the other is in the middle. I also found it disgusting that there is a fly trap inside of the place that looks like it hasn’t been replaced in months. Both me and my friends nails together were over $100, and completely sloppy. I would not recommend this place as it is a waste of money, and the staff is extremely disrespectful.
First Lady Nail Salon - Poughkeepsie Alyssa Martin: Went new years day and the owner is an absolute sweetheart, answered all my questions thoroughly and checked on me throughout my appointment. The nail tech that did my nails, Irene, did a fabulous job. She really knows what she’s doing and she does her job amazingly. They offer a lot and have reasonable prices. Thank you for the new years day accommodations I love my nails and cant wait to show them off during my vacation !!!!
Nancy Nail 1 LLC - Poughkeepsie the4musketeers !!: Kevin and his wife do an amazing job! I have been going to them for years and they do such an amazing job everytime. I recommend them to every single one of my friends and family. If you want your nails done come here !!!
Nails By Irina - Poughkeepsie Fh Fh: I refrained from leaving a negative review because I was hoping Irina would do the right thing and she never did. It has been 2 months and the situation does not sit well with me which is the reason for my review. Irina was on time and I have nothing negative to say regarding her punctuality. Everything else was awful. No masks were worn during the service and while I believe they were not mandated at the time of the service (2 months ago) considering how close you are to the client it would be ideal considering there is no barrier between the client and worker like most salons have done. My finger was cut and I had a scar for weeks after the appointment. When I showed my family my nails they thought I had painted them myself with an at home kit. I ended up going to another nail salon the day after and getting them redone. Irina used inappropriate language as well. I was more concerned with her feelings than my own because I did not want to hurt her feelings at the time of the appointment so I was polite and left. I later brought the awful language to her attention and she offered me a free service. I advised I did not want a free service given I do not feel comfortable there. No refund was ever offered which I feel is extremely unprofessional given the circumstances. The right thing was not done and I do not want others to go here and experience the same thing it is unfair to future visitors.
Edit to respond to the response I received: First, I was encouraged to take off my mask as soon as I walked in so the fact that I had it on was not respected. Second, I did reach out the next day and advised I felt uncomfortable with the language used to refer to me. (Racial comment/joke) I was offered a free service which I turned down because I had already stated I did not feel comfortable there and would not be returning. A REFUND was never offered to me which is what I believe is unprofessional & when I mentioned this incident to my family they were shocked that I was not offered a refund given the cut on my finger, the fact that I had to get my nails redone the next day because they looked like I had painted them myself at home and the insensitive language. I waited to leave a review because I was hoping you would reach back out and do the right thing and you never did. The money was more important to you than making it right and other people should be aware.

She had a necklace that said “2008,” and when I asked her, she said that was the year she was born. YOU HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 17 to apply for a license. I walked out before she finished applying the acrylic it was that bad.
427 PK Nail Spa, LLC - Poughkeepsie Alyssa Rose: First time trying this nail salon and it was a very positive experience! They were super friendly and accommodating. I had to leave in the middle of doing my nails for an emergency, I didn’t make it back until 45 mins before they closed and they stayed and late and finished them for me. They did such a beautiful job too. The shaping was perfect, the nails weren’t too thick, and the design was exactly what I wanted. And the prices were great! I will definitely be back!
Walkway Nail Spa - Poughkeepsie Trixie Tezz: Ive been going to same tech for over 2 years, very satisfied (even referred friends and family). Got my regular gel fill and he plowed the drill into my cuticles twice (2 different fingers). Each time the pain made me pull my hand away as if I were being sliced with a knife. He got angry and upset that I snatched my hand away from pain. Told me that "I have to take it so that he can clean it out". I said "it hurt youre digging to hard n close". He said, "next time you come, find another person". He finished the service with an attitude while talking to his co-workers in an angry tone. He was clearly discussing what happened. At end of service, the fill looked sub par and seemed amaturistic. It was not his best work. He had someone else cash me out while he walked away. No worries about using a new tech, I will find a new nail salon!!
cozynailplus - Poughkeepsie Alexis Solares: Me and my husband got pedicures and I in addition got ANC + Gel art, and eyebrows done. The nail salon is very comfortable and quiet, the duration of the service was normal. I didnt feel rushed nor did I feel that they took too much of my time. The only thing I wasnt to happy with was the cleaning of my toe nails, I feel other places had better service. Loved everything else, nails came out nice, massage that was included great, eyebrows came out on point.
