1 /5 Nerpa Derpa: I leave this 1-star review to inform, not to judge. My nail experience was fine; the people were kind and my pedicure looks great. However, when I was placed in the nail drying station, I couldn’t help but notice the conditions the turtle’s above me were living in. There was black mold growing on the inlay of the tanks, the water was filthy, and the little guys didn’t have enough heat or light to go around. One turtle in particular had no heat lamp whatsoever and it sat aimlessly walking a 1 inch perimeter of a small fish bowl. Watching the turtles as my nails dried, I was distraught. If this could get the attention of the owners of the salon, I would tell them to have their turtles adopted and opt for a large fish tank instead (it’s more affordable food-wise and you can have a variety of pretty fish on display). I hate to go full on animal rights representative, but jeez, I felt for those turtles. Have a nice day.
