1 /5 Hally G: I would give this place a zero if I can I’m not a new customer. I’m always a returning customer, but this is the second or even third time that I’ve went to get a manicure and the nail polish and my nails are already chipping. I don’t work a heavy job. I don’t do heavy labor for my nails to be getting this bad. It’s only been one week since I’ve gotten my nails done so this is really unacceptable Anna. She’s a good stylist, but she has been messing up my nails so now it’s really getting aggravating and does not do a good job anymore. It’s like they don’t wanna serve people of color rightly but when it comes to white customers, they’re gonna do whatever they can for their white customers. It’s like if you guys don’t want Black people in there just let us know. This is so degrading
Update: I went back to the salon, and they did fix my nails free of charge, which I appreciate. However, the overall experience still wasn’t great. The new set wasn’t done properly either—the shape came out wider than what I originally had, and the attention to detail just wasn’t there.
While the staff is nice, the quality of work just doesn’t match up. If you’re looking for a salon that consistently delivers good nails, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Nyack businesses really need to step up because losing customers over basic quality control is not it. The picture with the brown background is the updated one that I got in my nails you don’t even have to zoom in the picture, but you can obviously see that the nails are different shapes and sizes. I don’t have to be a professional to see that.
