4 /5 Shane Foye: i went here for a problem with my knee, because an urgent care center referred me. CVPH checked me out, said Id need an MRI, and told me theyd call in a few days to schedule an appointment. Two weeks went by, and I did not get a call. I had to pester them to schedule an appointment.
Edit: upgraded from 2 stars to 4 stars, because the care was good once I actually got into the diagnostic and surgical parts of the hospital. The MRI staff were friendly, professional, and got the job done right. Orthopedic doctors were great, and talked to me about my lifestyle before doing surgery. I am apparently healing well, so I am thankful to the surgical staff. They courageously operated on me in the middle of a pandemic. Also, if you have questions about billing, your call might get redirected a lot, but they do resolve the issues. The financial assistance people were really nice, although it doesnt look like I will need to use them.
If you go here for help, make sure to be your own advocate, because you might fall through the cracks. I shudder to think about what would have happened if I didnt pester them about scheduling the MRI, which eventually diagnosed a serious problem. Oh well, alls well that ends well.
