Felicia Dickerson: Today I got my hair done eye lashes , wax and eyebrows done all in one. All for a good price I think she gave me a dead steal lol the lady was so kind an so helpful I will be continuing to go back !
Stephanie: Very upset . Today is my birthday , I went in for just a wash and blow dry. Nothing big . I left with something I could have done at home. I have very thin fine hair. She recommended things I can try , no issue there. The issue is this huge burn spot on the side of my head that is really hurting me and that’s oozing out. Will not return. Waste of money.
paulina ulano: I discovered this hair salon in January 2025 and I am so glad I did. The hair stylist Kelly is amazing in hair craft and skills. She matched a perfect hair color. She makes a perfect hair blowout. She is very attentive. The owner of the salon is welcoming, and creates a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The salon is very clean, with modern decor and great ambiance. Great salon in the community of the upper Manhattan/Inwood neighborhoods. Highly recommend.
ingrid funez: I went there yesterday, it was my first time. As a result this is what happened. The top of hair there is a part that is burned. The blowout doesn’t look like a blowout. I don’t recommend this place. They burned my ears.
Crystal Rodriguez: I had a great experience at Shalom Beauty Bar! The salon is clean and stylish, and the staff was friendly and professional. My nail technician, did an amazing job on my gel pedicure and my full set. The attention to detail was impressive, and my nails look fantastic. The prices are reasonable, and the whole experience was relaxing. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Yarielys Fernandez: I have been doing my hair with Betty since I was in grade school. My mom had always gone to her and so I always went as well. She has had many salons and anywhere she has gone I have always taken time to travel to her because she’s that GREAT at her job. She has done everything to my hair from trims to regular blow outs to blonde highlights to touch ups and more. She is great at doing hair. I have curly hair and she NEVER has to pass the flat iron after my blow out. In addition to that, the times that I have dyed my hair with her she has always taken my curls into consideration and she has applied treatments free of cost. (She knows I love to rock my natural curls). Overall, she’s extremely mindful and considerate! She’s amazing at her job. I am now 22 years old and again I’ve been seeing her since i was in grade school so since I was like 10 years old, I used to go with my mom. Literally since before she had her own salon, just when she was doing hair from her apartment. I’ve always loved her and I always will. Best believe my future children will also be going to her.

Kiki J: I loved Maggie and the way my nails came out from the day I first went to the salon, but I waited until AFTER my vacation to leave this review! My appointment was a long one and Maggie was gentle, personable, and funny throughout! She genuinely didnt want to do anything that might have been damaging to my nails despite the fact that it might cost more and made sure to explain herself clearly. My nails came out beautifully, especially the shaping. And, for nearly 3 weeks, they havent started lifting, peeling, scratching or anything of the sort. Even the rhinestones are still going strong! Thank you Maggie!! Ill be back
