1 /5 Omar Ezat: I really debated about putting this review up but ultimately with understanding what damage was done, I had to.
Sent my car over here from a reference of a friend. Dealt with Oleg and he seemed great. After the job was done (all brakes and rotors, tuneup and more) I was excited to drive the car I recently got.
Ironically I never had any check engine lights. After having the car worked on, it came on and it was a catalytic converter issue. I really found that so strange that when I bought the car and drove it for over a month before I brought him the car that the light came on⦠BUT I said you know what? Its an older car so I understand maybe.
The issue I have is I paid $600 plus to fix my rims/ painted and all.
They did the brake job. When I had the car, I felt like I smelt burning every time I drove. Remember, I had the car over a month 3,000 miles plus, before I paid for the brake job and stuff. I paid Oleg $1,200 for all this work. And it was more because I wanted to invest in my car I just bought. But like I was saying, after I did the job with Oleg, I smelt burning after my drives. I brought it back to him and this piece of work said āits the way I driveā.
For someone to just say that so casually with out actually looking at his work, it sat so wrong with me.
When you TRUST a mechanic you say okay maybe its the way I drive. So I just continued to drive and wait it out.
2 months back my brakes had scrapping metal sounds and my back left rim just started getting this brown color on those rims I repainted/fixed.
Long story short, the calipers where bad and a GOOD mechanic would have seen that the calipers were going bad when doing the brake job.
So after another $400 job and brand new brake pads, rotors and rear calipers on both sides, AND from a different mechanic⦠I can report no burning smells āthe way I driveā and no issues.
But my rims are officially destroyed. So thank you to Precise Automobile.
