1 /5 Graham fox: Don’t take your car here, dropped my car off for a minor brake repair and got it back in worse shape then I left it, after three tries I eventually gave up and trailered it to my usual shop, they literally ruined every single component they touched, had to take it to my shop and have every single “repair” redone, cannot express this enough! Dropped it off because brakes were shot and jamming the wheels, once it was “repaired”, I couldn’t make it more than 100ft without the car stalling out, missing gear shifts and with air in the brake lines, problems that didn’t even exist when the car was dropped off, truly horrible service!

Her car needed work and an inspection, so I looked online, and chose Richies shop after reading his good reviews. Im so glad I did- they were right! Richie went above and beyond the call of duty to help me on short notice and was very kind and patient to boot. For the work he did and the time he spent, his prices were extremely fair. He is a really good mechanic, and trustworthy- wont do anything that doesnt need doing. My daughter will be taking her car to Richie from now on!

And Ive always gotten excellent service and the staff are very courteous and will answer any questions you have and make good decisions if you cant make. Their workmanship is good and they will tell you exactly what needs to be done after they have inspected your vehicle for the issues you were bringing it there for and give you options on what you want to do. Another thing I like is the fact that you can bring your own parts and they will install them for you. The waiting room is just like sitting in your own living room which is very good and relaxing. I highly recommend Skinners to anyone thats looking for quality service .

We live in our RV full time and the mechanic said he would give the truck a good review of key areas to ensure we werent going to have any surprise repairs. He found out that the front disc brakes were almost metal on metal and showed me there was hardly any brake pad left. I was extremely pleased how he was able to get the parts on a Sunday afternoon and still continue the work. He was able to get both the oil change and the front pads replaced surprisingly quickly. The bill was also very reasonable. Ask for the gentleman who has a beard and drives a 1994 Ford F350. :) He is very good and personable and best of all will do his best to get it done right.
