This time, I did the online reservation since I was worse. I discovered the system was glitchy (go Epic!) And my wait would be over 2 hours - past closing time.
The receptionist was snarky from the moment I arrived.
The nurse and provider were both great. And come to find out, I was sicker than even I knew.
The system needs to be rethought.
Gentle Touch Family Dentistry - Maria Szmigiel DMD - Plattsburgh Ellen Comins: I started becoming anxious at the dentist I went to previously and decided to try Gentle Touch. They were able to help my daughter who used to be very anxious to go to the dentist and no longer is, so I decided to make an appointment. This was a good decision, I had Rhylee as my hygienist as she was very kind and I had the best/pain free cleaning I have had in a long time. She alleviated my fears and it went well. I also saw Dr. Roberts who is also very kind and she explained everything to me and carefully went over my x-rays with me. She eased my fears as well and I am not feeling nervous to go in for my next appointment. Everyone in the office is very nice and professional. If you are anxious or nervous about going to the dentist this is the place to go!
True North Dental Group - Plattsburgh Michael Branch: I’ve been a patient for years and can’t recommend this office enough! Walking in, you’re greeted by a friendly, professional team that genuinely cares about your dental health. The office is always well-run, and they prioritize patient comfort and care.
What impresses me most is their commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technology. Knowing I’m receiving top-notch care from a dentist with years of experience is reassuring.

Lake Champlain Dentistry - Plattsburgh Judith Quint: Great dental care. Although,
I had a cold last cleaning. I was in pain from my tmj. It was the worst. The hygienist has a personal issue with me, and was very unprofessional. Maybe stepping aside and reschedule would have been better. I have never been ignored so uncomfortable at a dental appointment. They didnt even disclose who they were until the end of my visit.

I pretty much skipped out! You are amazing! Yes, the wait will most likely be lengthy but hes a one man operation.. just be patient! Its worth it! Again, you are amazing! Lake Front Dental Group - Plattsburgh Jacqueline Werner: Dr. Hoang and his staff are truly amazing! Dr. Hoang, his assistant Jamie, and his receptionist Tasha are very friendly, professional, and put me at ease right away. They were a Godsend to me when I needed a tooth pulled. The stars were aligned with the timing for me today and I am grateful!!
High Peaks Dental - Plattsburgh Stacey D: My first visit to High Peaks Dental was reassuringly comfortable, informative, & professional in equal measures. Every team member I interacted with, from the Care Coordinator to the Dental tech to the asst tech in training, went out of their way to ensure I understood what they were doing and was comfortable with the process. They were personable and engaging, while maintaining their professional demeanor.
